I agree. We have 4 very good young midfielders in Romeu, Chalobah, McEachran and KDB. But we'll probably buy two midfielders, a DM and a DLP, between January and summer, rendering their futures at the club more unstable.
-
Gianfranco Zola praised Chalobah after the game, and stated that he would like to extend the midfielder's loan beyond January.
-
Won MOTM. Very impressed, we've got a special young talent on our hands!
-
HT, just created another chance as well with a sumptuous back heel. He's been good this half.
-
He's also one of those guys who could play anywhere. Watching him today he could easily play as a attacking midfielder and still do well. Plays those one twos on the edge of the box quickly. Rarely loses the ball. His dribbling is also class as well.
-
Commentator: Chalobah had been outstanding, really pulling the strings for Watford.
-
I love he confidence he plays with. I know everyone says it - but I can't believe he's just 18.
-
Shown good touches so far.
-
Also have former blues Liam Bridcutt and Bridge.
-
The fact Feruz is about a foot shorter than most Premier League centre-backs makes me wary.
-
They are also playing Brighton, managed by Gus Poyet,(Watford managed by Zola)
-
There is finally a Watford game live today. 5:20 UK time, hopefully Chalobah will start as usual.
-
Lately alot of people tend to make long term judgements based on short-term analysis.
-
Apparently Anderlecht have first option for a loan for him.

Where do you guys think he'll eventually be played? When he first came to Chelsea he was tried LB, CM and CB but honed in at CB, and has since done very well. But recently this season he has been put back in CM, and once again, has done very well. Indeed he came on as a CM against Norwich. He's a very good footballer and suits both positions. As you probably know, his style of play at youth level is ridiculously similar to Luiz. I rate Luiz as a defender and midfielder so the same for Aké. My only worry is that he is only 5"11, (I was surprised when I read this, he looks taller). He generally looks fine in the air at youth level. Some games was struggled in the air and others he's dominated. But it could be a different ball game at senior level, and he may need some adapting like Bruma. However I think he has a better chance of making it into a future Chelsea squad as a CB. But then I like him as a CM so we can call him the next Gullit (it's uncanny!).

Former Werder Bremen sporting director Klaus Allofs is keen for his new club Wolfsburg to snap up Kevin De Bruyne for next season, according to Belgian broadcaster RTBF. De Bruyne wasted no time in making a splash at Werder Bremen, leaving Allofs enchanted by his skilky skills and declaring "he has everything". Allofs also revealed that he had tracked De Bruyne for years, but could not ultimately compete when Chelsea approached Genk to sign the midfielder. However, now Allofs is hoping to rekindle his love affair with the Belgian by taking him to the Volkswagen Arena for next season. De Bruyne has already given Chelsea notice that he does not want to return to Stamford Bridge next season to sit on the bench and another loan, this time to Wolfsburg, could fit the bill for the player.

All well and good scoring penalties, goals against Danish sides and deflections against mid-table Mexican sides I guess.
-
I am not convinced at all Rafa has brought him back. Remember his resurgence under AVB(Swansea, Genk etc.), remember his resurgence under RDM(Leicester, QPR and co.), and I'm afraid we're probably in a similar bout. Torres has still had as poor a performance as any of his usual ones under Benitez, see West Ham, Corinthians, Newcastle, Norwich efc.

Paranoia? Or just seeing things objectively. I'll tell you another example - a Liverpool site has just said that Sturridge must be an arrogant, cocky bastard as he dances when he celebrates scoring a goal. Again, this is exactly what I mean. It later goes onto say a player can only do this when they've 'made it'. Only Sturridge could get that sort of reaction for celebrating goals he scored. It's like some people read everything on Sturridge with this hidden sub-conscious saying this must be a bi-product of him being very arrogant. In truth, and espiecally off the pitch, he doesn'f actually do anything that can be attributed to his alias created for him. He doesn't go spouting rubbish to the media,(Torres), nor does he spout rubbish via Twitter, (Rio), never hear about him being late or whatever for training, (Dos Santos), isn't seen at clubs/bars(Walker). I usually post his interviews as in them he speaks sensible things, contradictory to what people want him to say.

Interview from around the time, which is what I was saying. He was well within his right to ask for more chances. Obviously because it is Sturridge it somehow turns to monster bastard Sturridge demands he plays CF over Drogba. Apparently it's a crime to have self-belief.
-
That is like saying if we sold Piazon for £10million, no one has a right to be dissappointed because he's not our best player. Sturridge has potential as a striker, yet is just another cast away. Is 60k a week suddenly a lot now? For what Sturridge has done with us, 60k a week is about what you'd expect. He's also played for two top clubs as well - is Huntelaar therefore also a bad player? Mancini even said last season he'd take Sturridge back. Who knows if we'll be saying the same?
-
To be proved right, and then thus proclaim more accusations his way. Like the people who seem to want Torres to do badly.
-
"If you remember, at the time, 2010, Anelka and Drogba were rubbish. Sturridge was impressing in the very limited outings he got - many Chelsea fans were asking for him to be starting. Even at this point he was playing some reserve football when he was clearly too good for this, scoring 5 goals in one game, and there's a video of him scoring 3 goals in a training match - but he never got a chance. He was well within his rights to ask why he wasn't getting more chances, which probably led to his loan to Bolton, where he promptly did better than anything Torres or Anelka had shown at CFC that season. I'm sure Lukaku probably did the same when he was playing reserves and the CF's were not doing well - he even came out to the media and was pretty malicious about that. "

I wouldn't be surprised if you want him too.
