The guy is getting pressed quite a lot but he's still coping fine. Either finds a pass (usually with his first touch), or can dribble his way out of trouble. I do wish he positioned himself a bit deeper for when Wolves attack though, seems to be chasing the moves when they happen.

Great double save from their 'keeper there. I like how quick thinking Chalobah is. I like both Romeu and Mikel but Chalobah is much better in that respect.

Won't make it at Chelsea but I think he'll become a pretty good defender - better than some people give him credit for. We have better talents in Omeruo, Kalas and Aké (of course not all will end up at CB).

I noticed his jogging and that moment at the end where he had space to drive into but instead passed to Bikey and then covered him at CB, as Middlesborough were chasing the equaliser. He does have poor stamina but them so does Mata and he works hard during games (not so much defensively).

FT. Dramatic end there! McEachran improved second half, some good passes and runs, but should still take more responsibility on himself to instigate attacks for me. 6.5 or 7/10 performance.

That was much better from Josh, turned away from his marker, carried the ball 30-40 yards and played a good pass for the winger. Started a move that ended with a good chance. Growing into the game,

Josh is playing DM - co-commentator thinks he should be playing next to Leadbitter in a more box to box/creative role, also mentions how in previous games he was much more creative.

Nearing HT. Worth noting that Josh put in some good tackles/interceptions. On the ball he has been tidy, but lacking..adventure, and drive. He still makes some quite subtle, sharp positive passes, but hasn't really put his stamp on the game yet? I also think sometimes his positioning is wayward. Having said that I'd like to think this is McEachran at his worst - a tidy player, keeps possession, keeps play going, in the same way even when Hazard isn't at his influential best he holds the ball up well. And then we know what happens when they are at their best. Still another half.

Zac Smale ‏@zachary90 Chalobah hit a young lad in the face with a wayward shot in the warm up. Went over and gave him a hug and a ball. Jealous. Essien did a similar thing a few years ago when training before a match for Chelsea. Let's hope Chalobah can match his efforts on the pitch for Chelsea as well!

I did, and he had been far more impressive as a CF/Striker. A limited footballer, in my opinion. Apparently getting banned for head butting opponents, regularly getting the most bookings in the league and elbowing the opposition every other match is just an, 'Honest lad, not being afraid to put in tackles'? Just for me, comes across unlikable.

Kaka is probably on par TBF, and just as bad a transfer, it was also £10million more.
