Sorry, Watford scored 4, thought it was only 2-0 - but still, had big parts to play in a couple of them
-
Can't really tell whether it was a direct assist or not for the second goal, but sounds like he had very big parts to play with good passes for the two goals Watford scored today.
-
I have wondered whether he can adapt himself into a direct winger type of player, his dribbling is one of his best assets. Not keen on him as a false CF at all, as he has always looked best driving into space for me. Although for the U21s he drifted infield more, would like to see if he could maybe be a more direct option out wide. Not so fast but good acceleration as well.

Essien another one. 3 bad knee injuries and 2 successive on the same knee.
-
I would love to know what Benayoun thinks Chelsea should do for Fernando Torres that has not been done.
-
KDB is far better than Marin, agree with you. But think he'll be used as a CM next season.
-
It would be nice to see him add goals to his game. Not saying he has to be Lampard, but I would say he's capable of getting 5 goals a season. Maybe needs to work on timing his runs, and shooting technique. Modric was another player who didn't score many goals, though, so not overly worried as long as we have other goal threats.

Phil Thompson on SSN after watching Watford today: "Chalobah in central midfield is absolutely fantastic."

Yep there were two moments that just summed up his whole Chelsea career. He shot, and the ball went out for a throw in. I don't even understand how you could manage that, but Torres can. Marin cuts inside, Torres gets in the way. Stopping attacks as usual. Though realistically I think they were both at fault, Marin was doing his head-down/less chicken run, should have looked where he was going. I also liked near the end of the game how he tried winning a corner but couldn't even manage that anymore.
-
Just reaches a level of acceptance in how bad he is really. It is just the normal now for him to be horrendous.
-
Thanks for the replies, on paper their strength does look best in the attacking roles really, espiecally in midfield where KDB and Hunt have had good seasons so far. That is seriously impressive, Bayern have been THE team so far in Europe this season, with Barcelona. Maybe they have been motivated by their losses against us(!). I would quite like to see Bayern win it, players like Robben, Ribery, Schweinsteiger, Lahm, are all worthy players of winning the CL, as well as their up and coming young talent.

@RomeluLukaku9: Waiting in the car while my parents are shopping ia the worst thing that i've done today --' So he is still 19

Sorry for any spelling mistakes.

On another note anyone know why Bremen arent doing so well? I was watching the Bundeskiga highlights and noticed they are in 12th, 4 places above the relegation zone. Not that they're in danger of being relegated, but I'm still surprised they're not at least top half as try have a good side on paper. Selassie, Elia, Arnautovic, Hunt and KDB are all good players, while Pietersen, Socratis, and Junovic/Ekici(spel.) are also all pretty solid. Am I overrating them, or are they just suffering from the inconsistency typical of Bundeskiga sides season to season?

“The place is great,” he told reporters. “It’s sunny, if slightly cool at the moment. But I like the food and some of the sights are fantastic. “Coming to Malaga was the best option for me. There’s a complicated environment at Chelsea at the moment. “There’s a lot of pressure and it’s difficult for a young player like me to get in the team. “Malaga was the best place for me to come because I want to play and have the opportunity to grow as a player. “Spanish football is a lot like Brazilian, and that means I can adapt easier and enjoy my football more.” Disappointing, but unsurprising he is not confident at Chelsea for chances.

Lukaku and Ba will NOT be enough next season.
-
Also, R. Lukaku has become youngest 'foreign' player to score 10 goals in season in English first division. 10 weeks younger than Anelka.
-
I agree - but this is expected as he is 19. This is another reason why I believe it was the right decision to send him on loan, as he is at a relatively low pressure environment at WBA. When he has a bad game no-one really cares but when he has a good game everyone praises him. Not saying he doesn't deserve praise, nor am I criticising the fans, what he is achieving at 19 is incredible, just the situation he is in ATM. At Chelsea poor performances will be much more scrutinised.

http://t.co/KkTnxqMj Chalobah interview for Watford, nothing groundbreaking, praises St. George's Park and talks about the upcoming U21 Championship.

Some nice quotes from Bertrand: http://t.co/BlWfQ2to

Rajkovic was also not a regular for Serbia
-
Now he is playing established himself for Nigeria he'll definitely get a work permit, even if not, they could appeal on an 'exceptional young talent' basis.
