  1. No surprise that Porto bend over backwards for Spurs but won't budge from their ridiculously inflated prices when Chelsea are involved.
  2. João Ruela ‏@joao_ruela DN: #Hulk: FC Porto received THREE offers from THREE diferent clubs. Two of them were already rejected. The last one will be analyzed today.
  3. Pedro Pinto and Gab Marcotti seem to think so, both well respected. We'll see though.
  4. Spurs look like they are getting Moutinho aswell now. AVB is doing what he wanted to do at Chelsea last season.
  5. Unless Michu scores a hattrick on Saturday! What a fantastic start the lad has had, but let's not get too carried away. Edit: Just realised the EPL games are on the 1st of Sept, so Eden should get Player of the Month.
  6. I'm not really bothered about that. It's just depressing seeing your favourite player go to Spurs.
  7. Jol can say all he wants to be honest. If a club comes in for Dembele and he wants to leave then there's not much Fulham can do, unless they want to lose him for free next summer. If he goes for anymore than £15m I'll be very very surprised.
  8. Where did you hear £30m for Dembele?!
  9. Rofl. Found this funny to: Oh how stupid some people can be. xD
  10. Passing should be the least important aspect in the role he plays. That's why generally in the double pivot a player like him is played alongside a 'passer' or DLP. Compare Mikel's stats shown there to Lampard who is meant to be this player (which is 85.6% over the 3 games). He was great the other day against Newcastle, Meireles also did well to help him out a lot.
  11. The official PL site (Not FF): http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/players/profile.statistics.html/eden-hazard Make what you will.
  12. This is incorrect. He's very disciplined and will stay back if he's required to. He only went forward more vs. United when Sidwell replaced Kacaniklic, giving Dembele more licence to roam (Much like when Yaya Toure is free'd at City). Besides, his defensive game is on a different level to Lampard's.
  13. "CLUB ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH REAL MADRID AND TRANSFER OF LUKA MODRIC The Club can announce that it has signed a partnership agreement with Real Madrid FC and reached agreement for the transfer of Luka Modric, subject to medical, to the Spanish club. The partnership agreement will see the two Clubs working together in respect of players, coaching, best practices and commercial relationships." Hold on, so not only did they get Modric, but Spurs are now Madrid's feeder club? Well played Spurs.
  14. Another 0-0 draw for PSG at home to Bordeaux. Lacking any sort of team cohesion.
  15. Much like City recently also, with Adam Johnson leaving. He hardly got any minutes and is a quality player. Shame Sinclair is falling into the same trap.
  16. Going to be extremely annoyed when he's a Spurs player come Saturday.
  17. Indeed, the defensive side of his game has come along leaps and bounds since last season. Jol has done an excellent job with him. Few stats: - Last season he made the 2nd most tackles in the league (112), only behind Cabaye with 117 tackles - He averaged 3.1 tackles per game - 79 total dribbles last season, the 3rd highest in the league behind Hoilett and Moses. - He completed 1490/1681 passes, a pass success rate of 88.6% (Mikel's 982/1089, 90.2%) - 51 key passes last season, averaging 1.4 per game This is all from three quarters of a season when he was adapted to a deeper role, alongside Murphy and Diarra. Comparing that to this season so far alongside Diarra: - 121/126 passes completed with a success rate of 96% - 9 tackles over the two games, 7 in todays game against United - 3 key passes, all in todays game vs. United - 12 successful dribbles over the two games
  18. Indeed, seems a lot of people have jumped on the bandwagon I was hoping he wouldn't play well today, will only reignite the Spurs/United interest.
  19. Agreed, he was one of our best players today.
  20. Dembele vs United (A): Touches: 80 Total Passes: 50 Pass Accuraccy: 98% Key Passes: 3 Total Dribbles: 9 Successful Tackles: 7
  21. He would replace Mikel but would need to be alongside a more defensive creative midfielder than Lampard. Him and Mikel could work though. Great performance from him again, MOTM imo.
  22. Yes, if the right offer comes in (around £10m) they won't stand in his way.
  23. Heh, people starting to realise how good he is.
