The more I think about the price tag the more I pray this works out.
No doubt he is a fantastic talent that we very much need but if it doesn't work out, oh fuck me are we going to hear about it.
Is it safe to say, Leao is definitely a no go now we are willing to spend soo much on Enzo!?
Word on the street is City want him although I'm not sure how he fits into their team.
Bellingham has the potential to become one of the greatest English midfielders of all time, maybe just maybe one of the greatest in the World. An all round box to box machine.
Enzo is a different player..one that I feel we need far more than a Bellingham.
Enzo has the ability to unlock defences with line splitting passes from ridiculously acute angles... he has the tenacity of a pitbull and reads the game excellently well... we need this desperately in our midfield. I also think he would be perfect for Andre Santos to learn from.
I want Enzo more than anyone... easily my favourite midfielder at the moment but if it does prevent us from investing in other areas of the squad, is this a wise move. I just hope we don't breach FFP rules again too... you know they hold no bars when it comexto Chelsea.
Barca trying to highjack another one of our players. For me that is a sign we shouldn't be signing this guy lol.
Let Barca sneak him again so we don't buy the clown.
Enzo is on another planet in comparison to Rice. Its not even fair to compare Enzo within the same bracket. Rice is a workhorse, good at defending and bang average on the ball, almost a transit van of football.
Enzo is a ferrari, end of.
I was all for Gallagher staying but yesterday was another example that he isn't good enough.... he jinxed past 2 players in the box and shot against a defender when he could have squared the ball to sterling for a clear opportunity..... look at Enzo Fernandez highlights, he has the vision of Pirlo.
I'm going to say it... Gallagher isn't good enough to play here long term and neither is Zakaria or RLC. I can see all three of those leaving in the near future following Kante and J5 out the door too.
He doesn't even look that slow. Anyways the art of defending is about positioning .... those defenders who rely on pace are those who don't position themselves properly.
