That’s an incredibly good deal for Jackson. Fair play. £70.5m in total once the obligation is triggered. Congrats. Now go and get a baller in the final hours. An obligation counts as a sale so now we have room for movement in the market.

Couldn’t wait to see the back of Jackson but to go into the next few months with Pedro/Guiu as our striker options and Palmer/Pedro in the 10 role when we have Byern and Barca to face… pure madness.

No way. Jackson is our asset. The fact these German wankers think they can play with our assets and not buy them is a joke in itself. If we need OUR asset because of an unexpected injury, it is what it is. I would expect any other club to do the same.
