Oh please. Maresca is getting pelters for tonights game. I feel for him, this board has let him down this summer. Yea we got a few decent strikers and a back up lb… but he deserved more. Just look at the defence we are starting with… absolutely horrendous for a club of this stature.

What’s most frustrating is the CB situation. It was obvious to a blind man that our CBs aren’t good enough to win a title. Don’t tell me the ownership aren’t aware! That’s why when the window shut without getting a top CB I knew this ownership isn’t serious about winning the league. There is not one single argument to justify this obvious neglect. Such a slap in the face for players like Palmer who aren’t being backed properly with surrounding ballers. instead the board only care about future sales… which is obviously bizarre when you do dumb buys like Mudryk and Gittens.

Compare Xavi to Gittens And you can’t argue that Spurs got the better deal.

Why is Levi included in the CL squad if he suffered a season long injury? Am i missing something here? Is he going to be back sooner than we thought? Seems weird to have included him in the squad and not Acheampong.

Like I said, it’s nice to say we have won it all but that competition holds about as much merit as it did before when we won it in it’s previous format…I’m not getting sucked into this hype that we won something truly special because it was our club that won it. I’ll shamelessly brag about it when giving it to rival fans.. that’s a given but deep down we all know, it’s just a cash grab.

I forget to mention the insane amount of money spent and not 1 established World Class player was bought with that money. Do fans not realise how crazy that is … ?? To gamble over 1.5billion on talents that maybe will or maybe wont make it… which let’s face it… around 75% haven’t made it and that’s why we have been able to make soo many sales. We have been selling off Cobham graduates and bang average players that were suppose to be the next big thing.

Nobody has been praising Arteta for playing like Stoke.. where did you pluck that load of old bollocks from?
