Tell him he's wrong. Fabio went for an undisclosed 'minimal fee' with his contract close to being expired and no idea how much they got for Buttner but can't have been any more than £5m.

Their whole country is in denial, most of them don't even believe he actually bit him. Doesn't help when even their president publicly defends the guy and says he didn't see him doing anything wrong. Wonder if most of them support Liverpool, with that mentality they'd fit right in with the Scousers.

Settled back in Finland after having spent the last 3-4 months in Munich working my internship. Had a great time there and it's fucking depressing to be back home. No idea what I'm going to do in the next two months before my university studies continue. Will probably start looking for a summer job but the economy is bad atm and I'm not at all confident about actually finding anything.

Liverpool again assuming the role of the victim here, got to give them credit for staying loyal to their habits.

Looks like he's just complaining about City not letting him stay in Manchester with his dying brother and instead told him he must go to Abu Dhabi for their post-season trip. Nothing wrong with not giving a fuck about going to see some Sheikhs while your brother is dying and that would have been the last time they could have spent some time together before Ibrahim passed away. Classless from City, not surprised though.

Jese Hazard - Oscar - Mata Pogba - Lampard Asamoah - Cahill - Ivanovic - Azpi Cech That's his starting lineup. Jese is number 7 so he has most likely sold Ramires and bought himself as the replacement.

Plays FM with Chelsea and buys himself, must be a sign.

Yeah and Chelsea pay him £60k a week, which makes for €4m a year and thus 8 times more the €0,5m / year he was widely reported to have earned at Anderlecht. Eight times higher or ten times higher it matters little, point is that he was still happy to accept the paycheck but hasn't really been willing to do anything for the club since and his decision to fuck off to Everton was especially selfish when it was clear, at least to me, that the club would have massive use for him. If he believed he could make it at Chelsea when he was 18 and there was far more competition for the place in the team, then why did he not believe it last year when there were two-three players arguably worse than any of the ones back in 2011 and Lukaku himself has developed nicely over the past couple of years?
-
If that were the case, then why did he move to Chelsea in the first place? At the time we had Drogba, Torres, Anelka, Sturridge and Kalou fighting for the places up front but that didn't stop him from joining the club as an 18yo. He was more than willing to accept the paycheck, which I would assume was maybe ten times higher than what he was earning at Anderlecht, but since then hasn't been willing to show one bit of passion to fight for the shirt and during these three years all he's done is moan about how awful his situation at the club is...

Did we see Azpi moaning about not being given a chance after he didn't even get a substitute appearance until the meaningless League Cup game? No, we did not. He trained hard, waited for his chance and hasn't looked back since. Did we see the other Belgian lad De Bruyne moaning about not being given a chance? No becuse he's a mature professional who knows how to deal with these things. He waited patiently for his opportunity, which in the end wasn't given and then he moved to another club and has let his football do the talking ever since. That's just two examples, one being a lad who became a key player after first looking like he might not be in the manager's plans and the other one who got his move either way despite not bitching to the media all the time. At least KdB's case him not being given a chance was a fact, whereas with Lukaku we can only speculate because he decided to fuck off to Everton before we could ever find out. Lukaku could easily have gone down either of these roads if he'd stayed last year and that's what every good professional would have done in his situation. Let's face it, either Lukaku is a very stupid or unprofessional guy. Whichever it is, it doesn't reflect well on him when we compare to other players who just do their job. Is it somehow beneath Lukaku to be just like everyone else in the team? I'd find it at least somewhat easier to understand behavior like that from a proven top10 player in the world but who is Lukaku really? A 21-year-old who's scored some goals for West Brom and Everton, big fucking deal in the grand scheme of things. A player like that has done nothing to deserve any special privileges and it's very arrogant and deluded for him to think he has.
-
I like the guy as a player and think he'd be the perfect option to rotate with Diego Costa but he really doesn't come across as the sharpest pencil in the drawer. You'd think he should know by now that not being able to keep his mouth shut is not doing him any favours. He should just shut up and get on with his game, if he plays well enough then he'll either get his chance at Chelsea anyway or be sold to one of the clubs he's always going on about. For someone who 'loves' Chelsea he sure seems to be whoring himself a lot to almost any club out there and it's got to the point where I really don't care if he's sold, as long as the club gets paid a fair price. The club would move on just fine without him and for the price we'd be getting for Lukaku we could certainly get a player who's as good as Lukaku but maybe with a slightly more mature attitude. Lukaku will no doubt go on to be a success wherever he goes but if he doesn't want to be a success at Chelsea then he's free to move on elsewhere as far as I'm concerned but for the love of God please shut the fuck up and let the football do the talking.

Of course he's not, it's just the avatar of @. Only the players in the 'Current squad' section have real pictures.

Didn't really know where else to put this so here goes. Transfer business of the calendar year 2014 so far, with the assumption that the club manages to finalize the Costa and Luis signings. OUT: Mata £37m, KdB £18m, Luiz £48m, Eto'o 0m, Lampard 0m, Cole 0m=£103m IN: Matic £21m, Zouma £12m, Salah £11m, Fabregas £27m, Costa £32m, Luis £19m=£121m Amazing business by the club really, get rid of three good yet still very much unwanted players for a total of over 100m and buy a new spine for the team for roughly the same amount. The club's total wage bill shouldn't be going any higher either with the release of Eto'o, Lampard and Cole who were all definitely on wages of around 150k a week and of the new signings only Costa and Fabregas get close to those amounts. Getting rid of some of the remaining unwanted players such as Ba, Mikel, Moses, Romeu, Marin, Bertrand will also fetch the club a decent amount of money and also free plenty of room in the wage bill so even without any important sales we can make a signing or two while quite possibly still ending the transfer business of the year in profit. FFP-wise things should be getting interesting because the sales are counted as lump-sum profits after the remaining book value has been taken into account but new buys are amortized over the length of the players' contracts so even with break-even spending the books will still show a significant transfer profit for the year. Add that to the increased broadcasting revenue and other commercial income and I wouldn't be surprised to see the club ending the 14/15 financial year with a profit of over £50m. First is of course the financial year 13/14 where I would also expect the club to be posting a small profit, given the new broadcasting deal as well as the sales of Mata and KdB in January. Time will tell, I guess. Gone are the days when Chelsea were splashing the cash on players that weren't thoroughly scouted and then sold them for a massive loss when they didn't live up to expectations. Now even the ones who don't make it are sold for hefty profits and the successful players are wanted by every top club in the world! Feels good to be a Chelsea fan at the moment.

Cause for concern at Barca but definitely not with us. That's exactly why he didn't fit in at Barcelona's midfield, because he's too direct for their liking. At Chelsea direct is exactly what I'm hoping him to be, hate that Barcelona sideways pass shit. At Barcelona it is a sin to play an ambitious pass and lose possession of the ball if the pass gets misplaced but at Chelsea I'm really looking forward to him playing more creative passes from deep because that's what we've been lacking for years now.
-
Mourinho did say in January that in the summer we would see why he didn't buy more players... Matic, Fabregas and Kroos in a three man midfield with Ramires, MvG and Mikel / Chalobah / new DM signing as rotation options would be absolutely amazing. Having so many different kind of players with different skill sets would give us a lot of tactical versatility. Would leave us one man too many in the AM positions though, if there were only two places for five players (Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Schürrle, Salah) and out of those I can't see Oscar being at his best out wide so there's that. Can't see Kroos coming though, got a feeling it's just his agent using the good old 'Chelsea card' when trying to get a better deal elsewhere. Saying we will offer him €8.5m a year will cause the other teams competing for his signature panicking and someone could end up paying even more than that. Would love to be wrong though.
-
That's probably from the game he scored his only hat-trick in a Chelsea shirt so maybe there's some Torres fan that would take it if it was legit but no one will buy a shirt like that from an anonymous person on an internet forum.
-
Matic, Fabregas and Kroos in a three-man midfield of a 4-3-3. One can dream...
-
El Confidencial in Spain are saying Barca owe Fabregas €5m but are refusing to pay it. That story goes back to when he moved to Barcelona in 2011 and paid €5m of the transfer fee from his own pockets and Barcelona said they'd give it back to him in case he got sold but now they are going back on their promise. Also saying Cesc could sue the club, I suppose that would go down well with the Barca fans who already hate him. What a cunt of a club Barcelona are, nothing about that scum can surprise me these days.

I think the girl was partly to blame for his development turning to shit. At least that's the image I've got from following Josh in social media, most times he seemed to be more focused on the relationship than playing football. Maybe now he can get back to being 100% committed to his career, he's still very young and has a lot of talent if he just gets his head back in the game. Probably won't have a future at Chelsea but can still make a decent career for himself if he manages to get back on the right track.
-
Costa and Balotelli in the same team, can't even begin to imagine how much more hated we would become if we had those two.
-
Neither Arsenal or City are after a left-back and Liverpool are close to getting Moreno, wouldn't worry too much.
-
Thing is, if he won't sign a new contract before next summer he will only have a year left and everyone knows that's a situation where the player has all the power. All the top clubs will begin contacting his agent and start whispering to him how much money Thibaut would be earning if he moved there after running down his contract so that's a situation we can't afford to have. If the plan is for Mourinho to make him the club's number one keeper now for the unforeseeable future I really don't see why he wouldn't sign an extension right away this summer. Makes sense for all parties: we get to tie up arguably the best GK in the world and he will get a massive wage rise on his current contract, which I would assume is not all that high given it was signed when he had only played one season in the Belgian league.
-
No chance of the club letting him enter the last year of his contract. Either he will sign a new contract this year or he’ll get sold and by the looks of things he will be staying so he'll most likely be signing the extension soon too.
