More Belgians? I'd prefer Witsel but Fellaini is a great player too. Or we could get both.

Bosingwa is good going forward?

1. Man City 2. Chelsea 3. Man Utd 4. Arsenal 5. Newcastle 6. Liverpool 7. Tottenham . . . 18. QPR 19. Wigan 20. Norwich PL top scorer - Sergio Agüero Most assists - Juan Mata Player of the Year - Sergio Agüero Community Shield - Man City European Super Cup - Chelsea Fifa Club World Cup - Chelsea League Cup - Liverpool FA Cup - Chelsea Europa League - Napoli Champions League - Chelsea City to win the league but only a few points ahead of us. I reckon United won't be a major threat next season and they will be out of the title race by December. Chelsea will become the first team to successfully defend the title in the modern Champions League era. Also the final is played in London so it would be very nice to win it at Wembley.

Valencia's been with United for three years now. He was average for two years and has had only one "fabulous" season.
-
Would be the most stupid move ever to tell those two we don't think they're worthy of a pay raise even though they just won us the Champions League and instead we're bringing in more quality players on wages multiple times higher than theirs. Anyone could see a transfer request coming in shortly after.

Yes and the fact that he has played in the Japanese league doesn't hurt either regarding the Asian market. And the Asians buy a lot of shirts.

If we do get Hulk then a nice dark green away / 3rd kit is a must. I'm sure we would sell a shitload of them shirts with Hulk on the back.
-
This picture doesn't agree with those quotes, I smell bullshit. Of course he isn't happy with his contribution last season but who would be? Probably the media twisting his words.
-
I saw +10 new pages to this thread in the last hour and thought he had finally signed, but turns out there was just some illiterate Liverpool fan trolling around. I am disappoint.

Sahin would be my preference too if we were to buy another midfielder but I'm not convinced he's available and I don't believe for a second that RM are really after Modric. I'm sure Mourinho knows he's class and willing to give him another chance and I remember Sahin himself saying recently he's staying. If he was available though, I'm sure we would have to battle it out once again with Manchester United because they need a player like him even more than us and they're about to get Sahin's former teammate Kagawa as well so he would fit right in with that bunch.

If we wanted to count the total amount Real Madrid spent on Ronaldo including the transfer fee, agent fee, wages for five or six years, bonuses and everything I am 100% certain it would amount to over 200 million in total. His transfer fee alone was £80m and Hazard's will be £32m. As for Hazard's wages it's everyone's own choice which source they want to believe. French and Belgian media reporting as of yesterday that we've convinced Eden to drop his wage demands down to £100k a week which imo isn't unreasonable at all for a player who will be a starter from day one and maybe has potential to reach the class of Messi / Ronaldo in the future. Then we have the English Manchester United supporting tabloids who are just so fucking bitter he didn't choose them so they write shit about him and suggest he joined Chelsea only because of the money and not because we are Champions of Europe (while Manure won fuck all) and probably the only team who can give him as much playing time as he can possibly handle.
-
Why settle for one when we could get both Fellaini and Witsel?
-
Thank you Salomon for the six years spent at Chelsea, you will be missed.
-
Is this really happening or just rumors? If so, I couldn't think of any better team for one of my favorite players to go to as I watch a lot of Schalke games already because of Pukki and now it would be even better if they had Kalou too for next season.
-
Hulk is a great player and he was my preference earlier but now it looks like Hazard is certain to come and I have to say no thanks to the big green man. Having Hazard - Mata - Ramires/Marin behind the striker is more than enough and if we are planning to buy at least one more player in this department then I would suggest getting someone who wouldn't cost +30m with massive wages and doesn't complain if he doesn't play 90 minutes in every single match. We now supposedly have one of those already in Hazard and with Mata playing almost every match too I see no place in the team for the likes of Ramires and Marin if not for injuries should we buy Hulk as well. Can't think of any names right now but another player like Marin would be great. Or we could of course trust De Bruyne and/or Kakuta to take their roles as squad players with Sturridge perhaps occasionally playing on the wing too. As soon as we get rid of the deadwood and buy one right-back and maybe one central midfielder we're good to go. Oh, and of course a manager is needed too.
-
As much as I like Kalou, that's too much.
-
That's creepy. If they just couldn't resist the urge to use photoshop to make him in a Chelsea shirt you would think they'd at least use a player who's white.
-
From Bluemoon, a small part of a longer post whining about Hazard supposedly choosing Chelsea. So bitter and just wrong. AVB came in June and Mata joined halfway through August. Every single player bought last season was a manager signing except maybe Lukaku and Courtois, one of whom was always destined to spend a couple of seasons out on loan and the other was just 18 at the time. All City and United fans rant about "Chelsea not even having a manager and still sign players". Which fucking manager wouldn't want Hazard on their team and if this business has to be done as early as May then we have to act quick and buy him while we still can (that is if we are actually signing him. Not believing anything yet ). What good would it make if we waited a month until we had a manager and someone else had already signed him and then the first thing he says when he arrives would be "why on earth did you not sign one of the hottest prospects in world football when you had the chance?". And if a manager wouldn't want Eden then we most certainly would not want him to be our manager.
-
That's the fear, yes. I can't even imagine the meltdown on this forum when everyone is already planning to buy Hazard's shirts and their only concern is what number he will get. If this deal were to fall through then perhaps it's a good thing the servers can't handle all the traffic so we'll at least get through the initial shock when this forum is down. A good reason to hold off on the possible donation.
-
Let's not get ahead of ourselves there, even this deal for Hazard is not yet done.
-
I have a suggestion: how about changing from : Goober : to :Hazard:?
-
Not getting excited until I see a picture of him holding a Chelsea shirt on the front page of chelseafc.com. Who knows, maybe his twitter account was hacked or he's just trolling us? If he is indeed joining us, I wonder what made him change his mind? Maybe we told him we could name our new stadium "The Garden of Eden" if he joined? So much traffic on this forum right now, always crashing. When I have money I will seriously consider donating to the cause. :blue scalf:
