The money could have been saved and spent better elsewhere, even if it was going to be on him in the summer so that he could get a preseason with the club. By spending on it in winter you want somebody who can come in and do the job, and he doesn't fit the mold. Vic looked a much more sensical option, but nothing we could do if he didnt want to come back.

Its only been about 2 months, but Cuadrado looks a waste of money, and money we could have saved until the summer to find a real option.

A striker like Costa wouldnt fit in at Arsenal with their a million pass trying to walk in goalsl. Their whole system relies on a striker who is able to be technical. Costa works better with what we have in Fabregas because he is able to get on the end of passes while exploiting space. I think Hazard would benefit from playing with a technical striker though.

And kane is the leading goalscorer in the league.

This is why I think he is best in a two striker system where is is able to be a part of the link-up play, and then can play off another striker.

Giroud has really turned into a great striker. Not even just the scoring, but the all around game. He is a player.
