I think Krasic is trying to be loaned in to replace Anelka as back up to sturridge because targets like Hazard won't be available till Summer and can't participate in the champions league etc. Despite being inconsistent, his pace can trouble anybody and so as back up its fine. I don't he's being brought in as a starter as it seems as though Avb wants a creative midfielder judging from reports. Will be a decent signing

One of the differences you see between Avb and carlo, is that Carlo said that he was going to bring pirlo to play DM, Avb brought in Romeu. Carlo wanted to bring in Pedro Leon for the wings and Avb brought us Mata. He's doing well

What i want: Out- Alex, Anelka, Kalou, Ferreira, Drogba In- Rodwell, De Bruyne, Rajkovic (recall), Azipulecta, Hazard, Llorente/Cavani What i think will happen: Out- Alex, Anelka, Kalou In- Rodwell, De Bruyne, Winger/creative mid, Young unknown player We keep our transfers really quiet at Chelsea nowadays, but apparently we are trying to bring one marquee signing. Can't wait for January though

Think we all need to delve a little deeper into this transfer. Rodwell is a young english talent with his best years still ahead of him and can play CB, DM or as a box to box midfielder. How many versatile players do we have like that. Although he is good in midfield, he has all the making of a very good ball playing CB very similar to Ferdinand. He's big, strong and quick and has good passing and vision for his age. With Alex leaving, we need someone who can play at CB and i'd rather go for him than Cahill. Avb can mould him into a very good defender who's also capable of playing in midfield. Would be a great signing if you ask me

Its not a fact that we are not interested in cahill and modric, remember the beginning of the season when avb was asked about mata a nd he said he was a great player etc....but one we're not looking to sign and then 2 days later he was a chelsea player. He hardly ever reveals anything, if you look at avb's comments about Cahill, it was similar to what he was saying about Mata like how he is great player and all of that. Think we'll bring in Cahill, De Bruyne, Vargas (but the transfer goes through in summer), creative midfielder/winger and possibly a striker. Those last two positions could be anybody

I think at Hamburg he got injured and that allowed Bruma and the other the CB to cement their first team status. The guy is a beast though and don't think he'd mind being 3rd/4th choice

Realistically Out Alex Kalou Anelka Mceachran (loan) Drogba In Cahill De Bruyne Ilicic/Giovinco/Jovetic Krasic Pato/Cavani/Lewandowski/Llorente Call me crazy, but i would love us to take a punt on a Tevez loan deal until the end of the season. He's a cunt, but still a quality striker. There won't be a massive overhaul at all in January, but in Summer if Avb is still around Ferreira, Mikel, Malouda will probably be gone and replaced

Are you serious? It isn't right at all that Drogba is first choice, torres came on for 10 minutes and was more of a threat in that space of time than Drogba. I think this is a way making Torres fight for his place so that he shows hunger on the pitch and i think from this he'll decide whether or not to offer Drogba the extension. He's been a great servant to the club, but i for one hope he leaves in January and we bring in a younger, quality striker/right winger for competition
