  1. On a serious note. What the hell is up with our midfield? Havent properly controlled a game this season. And we still cannot even carve out REAL chances. When will this nightmare end? This is getting ridiculous.
  2. We're ELEVENTH IN THE LEAGUE! We're staying up, we're staying up, we're staying up!
  3. What a goal be Dimitry Payet! Such a huge fan of him. Another away win for Bilic nd the Hammers.
  4. Same celebration style too. https://twitter.com/chelseafco/status/654706236529602561
  5. I was using that song to reference how the Yankees have won the World Series 27 times. Most championships of any professional sports team in their sport. Get at Us. Btw, been ages since i whopped your ass in Fifa.
  6. I just want to see a New York Mets vs Chicago Cubbies NLCS. That's all i ask for.. And hope the winner from there goes on to win the whole thing against those fucking Blue Jays (my prediction to get to World Series.) And yes, this is coming from a lifelong Yankees Fan.
  7. He'll be back. JM will make sure of it.
  8. This will only work long-term if Jurgenn Klopp and the FSG Owners share the same vision, and allow Klopp to pick 'some' even if not 'all' of his targets. Will be interesting to see how quickly Klopp will implement his gegenpressing, and how effective it will be. I'll def be watching more Liverpool matches no doubt. And may the Kop for Klopp puns begin. Edit: Make of this what you will. Circo Immobile on his season at Dortmund. http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/ciro-immobile/schiesst-gegen-klopp-und-seine-ex-kollegen-42142430.bild.html
  9. It'll be RLC and Cesc. You can book it. Feel bad for the youngin', will probably be turned into a DM. What can you do.
  10. Agreed. Which is why i didn't think it was possible, but I'm trying to openly convince myself into the possibility. lol Ball playing CBs. New #10. Better CM(s). Those are definitely most glaring for a Pep system. But Hazard, Willian, Pedro, Azpi and Matic aren't horrible building blocks. Still agree would need a lot of work to create the proper personnel.
  11. But surely Ivanovic will NOT be offered a new contract. Surely!? How about working with Eden Hazard?
  12. Long read, but very good. The return of Dark clouds to Chelsea FC
  13. Thats the feeling i have. Like even if City win the league (Pelligrino will stay). Arsenal got Wenger. Man U look like they'll give LvG his 3rd season. That truly only leaves us as an option. Would he salavate at the proposition of taking over from JM (Top 4 or not)? He could get 'one-over' JM so to speak. We'll see.
  14. anybody think there's a legit shot Pep would leave Bayern after this season, and realistically consider us? I don't see it.
  15. The next manager will definitely have the 'funds' but they won't be on his targets. Rodgers was constantly fighting with the Fenway Sports Group, because they have been picking the targets and expecting Rodgers to make it work. They were constantly butting heads over transfer targets, and Rodgers hasn't been given the complete control he'd like. Also, I think what @Pizy is trying to say is that Liverpool, without CL, cannot attract world-class, ready made targets. They have to buy young, talented, but unproven players like Sterling, Firminho, Carroll (lol), Coutinho, Sturridge and hope they grow into Suarez's. That's just a fact. I think what happened was, the Owners saw the talented players they picked, especially Suarez and doubled down on their policy. On the flip side, Rodgers nearly won the league, and expected he'd get more lee-way and trust from the owners to pick 'his' players, and that hasn't happened. So yeah, we don't buy 40M pound players, but we can get players like Costa, Cesc, and Pedro. Ready made players. Liverpool cannot. The 'limited budget' is really on the profile of their targets, not the figure.
  16. Intrigued as to who Liverpool have lined up.. The Klopp sweepstakes are ratcheting up very quickly now.
  17. I've been very very very patient with JM. I was positive that the second half of last-season could be justified once the 2015/16 campaign got started. I admitted we were playing poorly, but I thought a PL Title would restore a collective sense of relief and belief in everybody's confidence, especially for JM who I believe couldn't fathom going two straight seasons without a league title for show. Especially when you consider how we lost 2013/14. How fucking wrong I was. You guys were right in the end. @MrExcalibur100,@lionsden, @Styles ----------------------------------------------- The issues from the beginning of 2015 have escalated to alarming levels. I have no problems seeing Chelsea lose a match, but these aren't even competitive losses. Look at Man City-1 West Ham-2. Wave after wave after wave of attack. Which result in real, goal-scoring opportunities, those are losses I can accept. A competitive loss. Those matches where the opposing GK is just playing out of his skin, or every shot rattles off the post/crossbar. But not once this season has Chelsea lost a match in that fashion. Not Once! Crystal Palace, Everton, Man City, Porto & Southampton all deserved their 3pts on the day. There is no defending that. Our "pressing" continues to be a joke. In fact, all we're doing is creating more space for the opposing midfield to pass more efficiently. It's so disjointed, you can tell this has never practiced properly in training. Come on Jose. The lack of open-play goals is scary. Our infamous Chelsea Bus has been moved to the other side of the pitch. Also, JM doesn't even tell our CMs/AMs to sit back, and play more conservative. Not once this season has our team been setup to play on the counter, Or play like we did against Man U in April. At least then I can say, "JM is changing our approach to matches, trying to stop the leaking, etc. etc.." Instead, for some reason, every match our players stroll on the field attempting to out possess/attack the opposition, and it's been failing on disastrous levels. Like, forget the whole Ivan & Cesc thing for a sec, JM isn't even instructing our players to play more defensive! Where's the infamous pragmatism FFS?! This to me is the most glaring and indefensible reality of this season. At the end of the day, I support whatever Roman decides to do. We'll come out of this. Chelsea Football Club always does.. Watch us get to a cup final and/or Top 4.
  18. I definitely think so. The only player who is clearly not suited to his system would be Cesc, because he cannot press to save his life, but Costa, Oscar, Willian, Matic all are capable ball winners and pressers. We even have the athletic and mobile Fullbacks too in Baba and Azpi.
