That 'attacking play' was soo painful to watch. So slow and predictable. This is what happens when you don't teach any offensive play.

Wow. That's very telling. I seriously thought JM's ideal Chelsea side would mirror our Arsenal 6-0. And at times last season we did mirror that style, but it's clearly been thrown out the window, and not the goal anymore. I mean, when that 'broken press' was applied last season, at least out CMs were effective. That to me has been a major contributor to our troubles as well. (Not absolving JM, but we should've been struggling in 6/7/8th place, not 15th.) last season atleast Fabregas was effective providing assists, Oscar effective scoring opening goals, Matic shutting doen several attacks. All players had their flaws, but were very very effective.

I think it's clear that JM is scared of our defenders' ability to defend one v one. Azpi and Zouma are the only defenders that inspire confidence in that regard. But that doesn't excuse the lack of cohesivness on the pitch. I don't know how as a manager he allows such blatant disjointedness to foster week after week after week.

I still don't understand our misguided intensity. The Top 4 attackers will press. The back 6 will simply stay at home and watch them. It's so infuriating to watch.

You've got to be fucking kidding me.. I tried giving this club the benefit of the doubt when rumours where swirling that Sturridge, Bertrand, Lukaku, and KDB would all be sold.. Musonda's will soon be out of here. And JM will convince us his attitude was bad, and point to his lack of height; meanwhile he'll be playing first team football in France. This club is embarrassing when it comes to promoting youth players. All the scouting, none of the trust.

He played well in the League Cup match against them... But Ivan's height cannot be ignored, and the warrior will be itching to go back into battle. If he doesn't start against Stoke, post International break, we're all doomed.

We really need to start racking up the 3pts. Looking at our Next 7 EPL matches, Stoke (A), Norwich (H), Spurs (A), Bouremouth (H), Leicester (A), Sunderland (H), Watford (H). If we could just have 5W 1D and 1L over that stretch, I'll be ecstatic. Just cannot go through every match expecting a loss, these players have to turn the corner at some freaking point, we're in Novermber! Making Top 4 looks all but lost, but come one, at least give us some false sense of hope Chelsea!

Regardless of where I may stand on JM as CFC's long term manager, y'all gotta admit that was a special and sincere moment today. No matter how shitty this season may end come May, he'll still be referred to as 'The Special One' in my book.

Not sure what I want to be honest. A Dynamo win/draw vs Porto, or just a guarantee of Chelsea in the knock-out stages provided we win against Tel Aviv. Not like whatever I 'want' will have any bearing on what happens, but still, our luck this season has been shit, and I can certainly see a Chelsea vs Real/Bayern Munich in of Rd.16.
