this thread over past two days especially today is why i love this forum, great talk, back and forth but respectable, nobody actin daft. just great fan talk. its happened plenty before but today it really hit me somereason. great stuff. haha

i havnt heard anythin from barca, so we can stil use romeu. lamps wont have that many games with new signing oscar who can play 2games week for longer time than lamps. thats after givin his time to adjust. u critized all the pivots so who u got playin there then? i was simply statin who our pivots will be: we bought oscar, have lamps, mikel romeu and mierles. also why criticize mierles? he did great job for portugal in euros and ended season on the high, took while for him to show worth but did in the end. attacking 3: i agree not at full force, (i stated that in OP) and yes, we need kdb and marin to really stand out. which is why a rw was my IDEAL choice, but hulk is out of window now if/when oscar arrives. i was hesitant to suggest idea of still buyin a rw cuz that means rambo is left in limbo as he is down the pecking order in midfield and on wings. which shouldnt happen, deserves wayy more. also we rarely have had 22 players goin strong, or should i say were lucky to have squad players. always had likes of jt, cole, drogs, lamps, anelka 2game a week, runnin their legs into the ground. and in todays market finding squad players is hard, not to mention FFP makes it harder. which is what a new rw would have to accept or force rambo out of favor. becuz if we had signed rw and no cm, rambo is one less winger we really had to 'worry' bout gettin games cuz he would be in midfield. but now he has to get games on wing with the new cm. thats me reasoning.

yh but kills any chances we go for him. we're not gona spend that much money, even though won UCL, i'd prefer a winger and leave double pivots to lamps, mikel, romeu mierles, and kdb but with this kid our attacking three has lost whatever physicality they were trying to creat in signing a hulk/jovetic. im not against oscar the signing, but the idea of neglecting rw is something to be noted. maybe kdb can play there (attacking 3) but i'd rather have had that rw and no new cm. than new cm and no rw. i can be wrong, maybe we buy a winger--but nowhere near the hulk level. RDM/board/roman have plan and its nice seeing them execute it. pivots:lamps mikel oscar romeu mierles attacking 3: hazard mata marin rambo kdb. when u look at that nobody can complain, nobody, went from bulldozing to technique in instant flash. its just a rw was MY preference, but u cant fault what that team looks like on 'paper' just need time to gel!

its funny, rumors are we're signing OSCAR and suddenly everyone adds him and hulk to strating 11?! i miss something?

if we get oscar it seems the drem from jovetic/hulk/rw dies. i dont us buying anymore attacking player only the rb which may spell some problems. a RW was neeeded and we bought a st (torres/lukaku) and cm in oscar. im not for him and dont think he is vital for he takes up lamps playing time aswell as a promotion to kdb who could play cm and not commadn the starting place like oscar. but who cares it seems we're in for him so i did my best including him. i feel horrible almost gona cry but this is what RDM will prob do if we get him .......no rambo . subs:danny, rambo, marin, bertrand, cahill, new rb, romeu

i dont this huy but would we put him in the squad or send out on loan? not what you would want but what is most likely to happen? will he be given shot like kdb or loans like other youth signings? thx.

in US we consider that 2011 season, thats when it started. also,,, never knew ST's were supposed to pass.and when u have someone like torres who runs away from the ball ESPECIALLY durin first half of season, who was supposed to score?? rest my case, no gettin thru to torres fanboys.

aight, so what if our attacking 3 are: hazard, marin mata, rambo kdb. and pivots- lamps mikel, rambo, romeu, and dembele as esien and mierles replacements. if thats too little, then i dont know what other winger would be okay with bench role. maybe krasic? moses-i doubt it, walcot? just few sugeestions. i hear your point bout havin big squad, enough rotation but if moses is truly okay with that role i would welcomr him too, just dont believe it though.

agree. also if our midfield is lamps, mikel, romeu, rambo, mierles, essien. i wouldnt mind getting rif of later two and pickin up dembele. but yh, modric not needed only hulk and kdb promted ONCE he shows his skills to RDM. soo squad like this wingers-hazard, hulk----subs:marin, KDB, rambo. we're not gettin him and hulk. if we get modric, then moses. and if hulk then nobody else cuz no cm is available for cheap. no way in hell we're buyin hazard-32mil hulk-35mil modric-40mil. this isnt FIFA!

maybe the 3 could be this -------mata-------rambo --------------mikel. mata would drift, not bein held to left side, and rambo would be box to box which is his best position .

NEED, is strong word, first its rw and rb. then if KDB impresses i would keep him in squad, as the extra cm/winger. CM-that position becomes VERY crowded with new signing and also lamps, rambo,mikel, romeu, and mierles and esien. as much as we'd like to sell later 2 doesnt seem like it by club's actions so far. looks like its RW AND RB then finished. idk just what i've observed. soo should we get top quality CM, or top quality RW? its rw for me as well as switch to 433, to accomodate rambo. but highly doubt the switch.

i believe its the physicality also we would lose, also what makes him different than KDB who could arguably do SAME job. so dont put 10mill on moses just use it for top RW instead. thats just me.

umm, i dont see point in moses if we get hulk/jovetic. both are top rw though jovetic stillbwould need to learn rw as he's ss, but we can make it work. we had anelka, and kalou and studge all st's play at rw, did we suffer that much? i would argue no, not all. and we can promote a fella called KDB who could easily be backup winger or cm. why buy moses to stunt his growth? we're gettin younger and marin, hazard, hulk/jovetic, and kdb are enough with ramires comin in at tines of emergency. moses- great talent, high cieling, not needed cuz we will sign better rw, and if we dont, then idk what the would be! moses and marin rw but then we losr sooo much prescence up top, which is why hulk or jovetic is needed.
