Jason, Sarri has used this system for years and I am pretty sure Jorginho was marked all the time in serie A. Jorginho as holder has never been the problem. You can say that epl is faster and more physical but I am pretty sure jorginho is not known to be fast nor physical player in serie a standard. Having said that, I agree with you, let's see whether we can play the same way against better team. I wish we don't play against city straight away. Because against city even if we play well we can still lose. My only hope is that if we get scored on counter we don't always blame jorgi and Alonso.

I agree with you but as a young player that is the first thing that you need to show be responsible defensively. After that you can show your skill. If he does not improve defensively he will struggle to get into the team unless we are playing a very weak opp.

I think you can really see the reason. If he want to play across from hazard, he need to track back more like willian. Maybe I was wrong, but when he came on there was one occasion either he losed the ball or somebody in his area, instead of sprinting back, he was jogging. It is crazy if he said he is not happy after winning 5-0 but what he said is true. Our pressing was fantastic in the first 30 minutes. Our defense I thought was also quite good but we make some silly passing and decision that exposed our defense too much. Playing this football we will get countered, but it was too much for my liking in the 1st half. 2nd half I thought our defense is not as exposed but our pressing intensity dropped maybe due to fatigue.

Even after 5-0 win I am not happy. Our pressing was really good in the 1st half but we expose our back line too much. Against a better team we will concede on the break.

Yes, I agree it is great if Alonso can get back faster but the problem is where do you want to lose the ball. That is the key. Hazard made two bad decision that led to two counter attack. He basically expose our defense by losing the ball in those positions.

No I am not kidding. Yes Alonso should have run back fasfter but that is not the problem. You cannot lose the ball in the middle of the field while we are in build up phase. You can lose it either on the side or deep in their territory. That is how you prevent the from countering.

I suggest you watch klopp analysis with carraggher a while ago. You point is exactly the same as Carraggher but in klopp point of view, it is not he fb fault. It was the passers fault Hazard tried to dribble to traffic got caught suddenly counter. He made bad crossfield pass, got caught counter. Alonso position is always high, that is his position. Hazard cannot make bad pass unless it is deep in opp territory or on the side.
