I know. Three of the most exciting teams last season were city, pool and spurs. The board want us to play that style. I don't know whether Sarri is the right man but does the board has the patient and money to support this change and does the fans be willing to accept a very up and down season.Because unless we can just spend 200 m in one summer it will be a long and painful journey. He will not pick just any team, he will pick team that can play his football and win games. He also knew that city has txi that will support him. All big team has superb squad by spending. The important thing for having a good long term plan is to allow you to build team that is suited to your way while minimizing bad tranfer. 4231 is a option, but honesty there is very little difference. In some game you can see that kante is deeper an Kovacic play more as left winger to let hazard roam around kinda like a no 10. We are essentially almost play like 4231. Rather formation, I personally prefer to improve our pressing game.

I agree having a very good dof is good because he can decide what kind of football that the team want to play, hire suitable manager for that football and sign player suited to that team. Right now it is obvious that hiring Sarri is a mistake. Not because Sarriball doesn't work in epl, but Sarri want to force his system to team who has problems doing two key components to Sarri football. High pressing and possession based offense. If you want more defensive hire somebody like conte/Mou and stick with them. We are changing from counter attacking to possession based hence drinkwater and bakayoko are useless.

We lose our one on one battle. That was football, if you want to play you have to be willing to have one on one. We lose two crucial battles. Plus bad individual mistakes. I think that is more the problem. We are losing so many one on one battle it is not even funny. Agueros is beating Luiz and Ruddiger. Sterling is ripping apart Azpi. People will talk about alonso but that wasn't the main problem. Should have just done a mourinho and parked the bus.

Looking at expected goals this United team is just very2 lucky. They can create less than their opp but they win. It is getting harder to judge whether Ole has done well or not
