  1. co-bigga fish ta fry and I also made this thread a while back, call me young Nostradamus
  2. wow I done seen it all. was the right choice to stop reading the telegraph, wont have to deal with all their sports writers bs (but mainly because they started charging for access to content )
  3. oh I figured that might be the case but didnt bother to look it up, explains why you believe we could get him for only 5M then well to reiterate, wouldnt mind seeing him at the Bridge
  4. lol no way Llorente for that price actually wouldnt mind Llorente, much more bang for the buck
  5. why are you trying to infer that I've said RdM is a terrible manager?
  6. I already adressed this but it's up to you if you want to read or not before posting I already gave him credit for playing his part in bringing success
  7. who's not behind the manager? results wise we're not struggling. performance wise I would say yes (to a certain extent) right now but it's a transitional period as been pointed out
  8. good point, and most of the players probably need more playing time with each other still. if we dont make too many changes to the squad we should be in a great position ahead of next season
  9. I can see how it might be disrespectful to chat about other managers than RdM so again I digress..
  10. havent said one word of critiscism against RdM but you guys are very quick to jump on me like I had. maybe the wording "he will come good" was a bit wrong, seeing as he has already brought success to the club. I believe he's a good manager but in my eyes it remains to be seen if he's a great one. whereas Mourinho is world class and Guardiola most likely is too (doesnt necessarily mean either is right for Chelsea at the moment). my reasoning for making the thread was...had we drawn or even lost yesterday the situation would've been completely different. as it stands a draw would be a top result away in Torino, can you imagine having to go there under the pressure of having to win? always support whoever's in charge but I digress, maybe we should not discuss RdM's future at the club until the season is over..
  11. why, are we not allowed to future scenarios, whether likely or unlikely? maybe it's all been smooth sailing in the eyes of some but a few of us have seen some warning signs
  12. we was half expecting Roman to be on the phone with Guardiola at FT if we had drawn yesterday.. and the season would've likely been regarded as a failure begs the question though, how do you feel about RdM's future as manager? will this be the turning point where we go on and mount a decent CL campaign and try to go for the PL title? what if by May we havent won nothing, will he be given more time? he's definitely under more pressure than most seeing as he was never first choice for manager, obviously the ultimate success last season eased that pressure going forward. obviously this is all hypothetical and hopefully the club will go on to have a very good season but.. discuss
  13. Shakhtar are happy to let us cross into the box need to go down other avenues
  14. we need to come out firing straight away tonight...no being outplayed in the 1st half and then damage control at half time like at their place tactics and team selection need to be spot on looking forward to a PEACH of a game
  15. think if we lose to Shakhtar RdM will be in the job until the end of the season and then be replaced. dont know who would be the favourite by then but you would expect Roman to bring in a big name, like Guardiola or Mourinho
  16. feel RdM is at fault for not getting the best out of this team today you can say world class players shouldnt need to be motivated to perform but look at ferguson, almost always getting the best out of the the players he pick
  17. #TeamFuckWarnock pause not getting ahead of myself here but looks like we could be teeing up with Arsenal in the final
