Sorry but I don't agree. Mikel has been like that for ages. He always promises every season and fails to deliver. I don't think he can improve much, plus i really dislike his slow nature. He is soooo slow in the midfield. We need more pace, faster passing and faster thinking people. It is why I want Javi Martinez. Sure Javi will cost a lot but if we are able to sell Mikel to Anzhi or such we will recover some of the money we spend on Javi. Cabye is a great choice, but if we can get Javi I will not pass that up. Plus as I stated he is like Ivan that can also play as CB, so that's the price of 2! And selling Essien we will need a replacement cause we will play with 2 pivots. So in a demanding season is best to have a cover for each role. 2 pivots then we need 4! Ramires, Javi, Romeu and Tiote are still my choice. Last agree with Josh, he still needs a couple of more seasons to be ready. Likewise Piazon, which I am not sure what role he plays.....

And how they know this? Did someone at the club said all this? Or they made it up as they always do?

Yeah he screw that up. Oh well at the moment I am happy with RDM. Hope he continues doing good, so the club give him a try. And hey, if after one season he turns out to be mediocre we will still have a descent squad! :blue scalf:

Your point is very acknowledged, but whatever tactic AVB was putting down it never worked because he never had the players behind his back. And we all might say how bad that is, but it's like that in every team. Recently Mourinho was acting out a fool in Madrid. And the spaniard players where not liking that, and some of his team selection. So a divide was starting to build up. Mourinho saw this, took some time of with the team to rebuild relationship. Mourinho realize that if he lost the players everything else will be useless. AVB failed in this, and his man management skills had been woeful....I still can't get over it how badly he treated Alex and Anelka.

Final draft for me in this midfield. After thinking about departures and those who should come in I thought long and hard. So this is what I came up with: Mikel, Meireles, and Essien must go this summer! In their places we need an improve Mikel. Mikel was suppose to be a Xavi Alonso type. One who can do the dirty work in the mid but also make killer passes. Needless to say Mikel has disappointed after many years! So sell Mikel to Anzhi. In his place I want Javi Martinez. A great DM that can do the dirty work in the mid, and has great spark of creativity for long range passing, something Mikel lacks. And to add to Javi great quality, he can also play a CB, thus a very handy player to have. For Essien, after many injuries I don't think he is coming back, and we miss his powerhouse performance in the mid. So who can pick up the bill that we lose in Essien? Tiote! Men got skills, stamina, tackling, vision and much more. All traits that we miss from the Bison. In time Tiote can become one of our midfield generals. For Meireles....avg at best, and a C plan buy after Modric failed bid. So Meireles goes and bring Kakuta from France. Has been awesome and deserves a spot in our team. Lampard I will keep cause he still got something left to offer. While keeping Lampard, Josh can interchange with Lampard so he gets game. Thus the new midfield will look like this: Ramires/Javi Martinez - Tiote/Romeu Mata/Lampard/Kakuta/Josh That midfield will give all the fire power we need for quite some time. Now where is your striker winger section? Got to put my final draft for that one!

So after having a chat with some people, I think I have my final draft for the defense here! In RB, Bosingwa and Ferreira must go. So we need a new RB and obviously no better choice then Azpilicueta for Bosingwa. Sam or any other youngster from the academy can take Ferreira spot. For CB we are good and no need changes. We got Cahill, DL, and Terry, with Ivan who can fill if need be. We must NOT buy any new CB. The next CB HAS TO come from the youth set up. Look at how much we spend for our youngster in CB? We got Kalas, Bruma, Nathan, Chalobah and much more. Someone has to come from there in the coming seasons. If not, it's a disgrace to the club for all that money spend. LB Cole must go. No but's or if, must cash him! We should get Leigthon Baines. Perfect age bracket, and not as costly. With him in the team we can start putting PVA and Ryan in the team, and see how they do in the coming seasons. I really thought he has been tactically good since he took over. People keep saying that Spurs and City where wrong, but I did not saw nothing wrong with them. City was a similar tactic like this game against Benfica, defend and counter. It almost work, but went down with Essien handball... The Spurs, that was not Robbie fault but the players. They played bad, and gave no passion for the team except the defenders. That game showed that no matter what happen this season, if we where to do a miracle and win the CL, Chelsea still need mids and wingers.

I don't know why but I feel like Paulo can easily be at Chelsea as a staff. He is a great person, knows different language, and can be a great person for PR.

I just love his contribution to the team. I will honestly say that the one bad year probably has made him more of a team player, cause he kills himself for the team. Fights every ball, does good passes, great assist. The board did screw up by paying 50 mill. That 50 mill has weigh heavily on him, and also getting him at the wrong time when our system is not good enough for him. But if in the summer we are going to get some explosive wingers, and more creativity in the mid then Torres will be awesome. Torres is not worth 50 mill, but he is here and we have to make the most of him.

Torres with a better mid and awesome wingers, will be killing teams! Can't wait for the summer. Going to be great.

Kalou has been a great super sub, but lets not kid ourselves this is the perfect opportunity to cash in. His stock will rise a bit if he keeps making these type of contribution. Lukaku can easily become our next super sub!

I love DL passion. DL, Ivan, Cahill and Terry...awesome defenders! The others I am not to big on them. Cole can leave, we need passionate players like these 4 at our defense!

I think RDM did the right choice for the game. From the beginning my thought was a team to defend and hit on the counterattack, and that's exactly what happen. Mikel has been better then Essien. Should continue to play Mikel till Essien prove otherwise. Torres proves why I wanted him ahead of Drogba. The only worry for me is Mata. Mata has a dip in form, don't know what RDM to do with this, since there is no proper replacement for Mata. Overall good win for Chelsea!
