This is the last thing I will say about this, since I need to cool of. The same excuses people here are using, I am sure where the same excuses United fans where saying for Berbatov. But despite all that money paid for by United, Berbatov only had one great season and a bunch of mediocre season. Because of that, by a lot of people Berbatov is catalog as a big flop. So why should Torres have a different stick of measure?

Would be a good buy, but not for this transfer window. We can look to buy him in January or if not next season. I think we would need to sell first at this point before buying any more people.

I posted a theory about Mikel in the Mikel thread, so won't say much about that. But I will say giving that we also have Romeu and Essien, if RDM is able to slot each one to their strength and weakness according to the opponent it will make us a better team.

I thought Mikel did good because of the way the opponent plays. They are physical side, and that style suits him. But when it's against team that are more dynamic and good passer, like maybe a Swansea, I think he will suffer. That is my theory...so only way to find out is see how he does when we play Arsenal, Swansea and such.

Well I don't understand why people bitch about him. Most of us here agreed that he is a very good squad player. He can do the job for a team that needs rotation, but that he was not starting 11 material for important matches. So it is why the club and most of us agreed, that it was a wise move to keep him....well as long as Meireles is ok with that squad role.

I don't think he should be a starter yet. Give him another sub cameo, especially since they will be playing Everton. And Everton ain't no pug team. This time bring him a bit earlier in the second half. And then after that give him a starting 11 if he does good against Everton.

That was a powerful match from Lukaku. That's what I like to see. Let him continue do that continuously for the whole season in WBA, and improve his first touch and then we can consider bringing him back to Chelsea next season to replace Torres.
