  1. Did the ticket section of the forum get removed? I can't see it anymore.
  2. I normally go through the lists after each season and then delete the ones that does not renew their membership.
  3. In theory I guess you are right. However, You don't just use another membership by accident or indeed without agreeing with the owner. That would ruin the whole set up. Also you can delete a person off your list of who can buy for you and who you can buy for. Lastly, if someone mis-used your membership I believe you can contact Chelsea and get the ticket cancelled, which might lead to repercussions for the abuser.
  4. Transfer £25 to him so he can buy it himself and avoid all the trouble:)
  5. Junior tickets are for under 18s. Yes you can buy them directly from the Chelsea website but it is not certain that tickets will go to general sale. If you buy 1 membership you can link to mine (I have two) which means you can buy 3 tickets directly from the Chelsea website when they go on sale to members.
  6. I do think we should start a seperate thread and see how many we can get together. However, don't you think we should wait until next season? Everything is sold out now.
  7. @ Special Juan and Skunk: Brilliant that is already 3 people:) I'll send you a PM with my facebook details so we can keep in touch. I'll post a suggestion to meet up on talkchelsea before the beginning of next season.
  8. Absolutely true. I attended a game in Dortmund last season and stood on the south stand (yellow wall) and the atmosphere was amazing. The only experience that can match it was a Besiktas home game I attended on a holiday to Turkey a couple of years ago. On the south stand in Dortmund they have flip seats as I believe it is a requirement to have all seater stadiums for European games but no one uses them. That along with the tickets prices is just a few examples of the clubs in Germany accommodate the fans. Along with greed, I also believe that the hooligan ghost is still lurking around.
  9. Make sure you get a membership for next season. Very difficult to get tickets without one. Good idea to arrange something through talkchelsea. Maybe an informal group of people meeting up before the games for a pint? Probably better from next season.
  10. Alright mate? I still haven't found one but we could always meet for a pint before a game if you are interested.
  11. Don't get me wrong I'm not suggesting or promoting ultra style fans. However, IMO introducing Capos to the bridge will lift the atmosphere. Far too often 2 or 3 songs are being song at the same time at MHL. A Capo would ensure that everyone are singing the same. Anyone know of any London based fan clubs?
  12. I don't think the atmosphere is that bad at the Bridge. I normally stand/sit at MHL and usually the atmosphere is quite good and better at bigger games. There are of course room for approvement. Some thoughts: - Someone in this thread suggested introducing a Capo (the song starters). These are widely used around Europe (the only place I haven't seen them is in UK) and I think they work really well. All you need is a megaphone and someone willing to stand in front of the crowd (and knows the songs of course). Here is video where you can see the 2 Capos in the middle of the stand where a little platform has been created for the to stand on. Here is another where you can really hear the use of the Capo - Too many tourists at MHL, who don't know the songs and just go to MHL for the atmosphere. If you don't want to join in creating an atmosphere there are many other places you can sit at the Bridge. - The ticket prices might also have a say. I would like to go to every game but I simply can't afford it. Hence, I go to the bigger games and loan out my membership for smaller games. I suspect more people are selective of the games they attend. Hence, we are not seeing the same people for every game. - Persistant sitting. I simply can't understand that you can't stand up at MHL (luckily we do most games anyway). Last game I attended (Rubin Kazan) there was even an official trying to get everyone to sit (didn't succeed and he was not there 2nd half). IMHO if you want to sit there are West and East stand or even MHU. If your kids can't see why not go to the allocated childrens stand or they can stand on the seats. - We are blessed by having 2 singing stands - Shed End and MHL. But I don't understand why we don't get more out of that by singing towards eachother creating a "who can sing the loudest" sort of competition. - Most clubs have a fan club. This fan club is then devided into smaller groups where one section is responsible for the atmosphere at the stadium (tifos, singing, flags etc.). As far as I am aware Chelsea does not have one fan club (I know that there are many smaller ones but none in London). Am I wrong (I would be very keen to join)? Just my 2 cents
  13. Anyone know the lyrics to the new Demba Ba song? Something about ".......he came from far away - can he play - oh can he play".
  14. I prefer MHL because of the atmosphere. Been to West upper once in a Champions League game because all tickets were the same price:). But I would rather watch the game in a pub than go up there again. I do like the fact that Chelsea has two stands that are singing but I would like to merge the two to create a more constant and louder atmosphere (still many quiet periods) OR that the two stands would sing towards each other sort of creating a who can sing louder competition. Any thoughts?
  15. great:) Would anyone like to meet up at Liverpool street? Always more fun to drink with someone else on a Saturday morning:) PM me and we can exchange phone numbers.
  16. Maybe a stupid question but can you use oyster card to travel on the train from Liverpool street to White heart lane?
  17. I would be keen to meet up. Is there a regular group of people from this website that meet before games?
  18. Does CFC have an official fan club in London? can't find anything on the website?
  19. Dream: Braga, Basel/Olympiakos, FC Nordsjælland Nightmare: Valencia/Benfica, Juventus/PSG, Dortmund Should go through no matter what though but would like to see some easy matches so we can concentrate on the league.
  20. Seems that you are sorted here but in case you need more memberships you are welcome to use mine (2).
