  1. He did? Can you link to that pls?
  2. I don't see how that's different from the 3-4-3 we play, 3-4-2-1 is basically the longer, more specific name for the same formation.
  3. What you're saying is that winning the league in England in general is a bigger achievement, in this way of looking nothing a French club ever does domestically can be considered a bigger achievement. Quite an elitist view, but okay. What I mean is you have to look at the context of both clubs, their seasons, history etc. Monaco winning the league after 17 years and progressing to UCL semis after 13 years is bigger than what we did.
  4. Here you misunderstood me. I was talking about those white self-entitled SJWs over here, as my original post also indicated.
  5. Probably can count on two hands. And this is what grinds my gears, the people crying in the media over here have nothing to do with this, but somehow they feel entitled to be offended. Somehow in previous seasons of this show it was okay, but suddenly this year it became an issue to them as it became talked about more worldwide. Attention whores. I for one wouldn't find a snow white person impersonating Coolio very convincing.
  6. Yeah and a performer painting him/herself brown to impersonate someone in looks and manners as accurately as possible just rips open those painful experiences. I bet if they refused to paint themselves black those same people would cry over the fact they racistly refuse to wear the black colour, I can guarantee this is how they would spin it. As long as there is a reason to be offended and get attention by preaching some phony social justice bullshit while forgetting what real racism, what the real issues in the world are. 7. Cheers, thanks, I will. You in the meantime can remain being offended by everything. [emoji846] Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  8. Response to what? Because Stevie was black and the impersonator was not tanned enough.
  9. whatever you say. I don't consider a white woman having her face painted brown to impersonate Stevie Wonder a reference to the lynching of African Americans. Whoever tries to convince me of some deep evil meaning behind this, I just laugh at their faces and ignore.
  10. Lol, this reminds me how just recently some SJWs started kicking up a fuss over our entertainers being painted black when they parody black artists in our version of "Your Face Sounds Familiar". We even have no black history so I have no idea why some of our people should feel anything about this subject. Ridiculous stuff.
  11. Ah yes, in this case I would understand the move. I thought we were talking about adding.
  12. One was an underdeveloped striker with no patience, but generally fits Mou's preferences. He wanted to leave. Luiz wasn't and isn't a defender in Mourinho's mould, he's a finished product and won't change, he was pushed out. He can still refine Lukaku, but he's already tall and strong so pretty much everything he looks for.
  13. With the revolving door in place the club should trust its original judgement for a bit longer. But you're right in the sense that kdb was pushing for a permanent move away because of Mourinho and ultimately it did his career a world of good. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  14. Our managers hold no ultimate power in transfers. The club had to sanction the sale. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  15. It was a long time ago so maybe I'm wrong, but I remember him being played as right midfielder, not central in the beginning. Maybe that was the reason?
  16. Paying insane money for one CB means we won't be able to get Sandro or any other quality WB for that matter. We have a higher chance of competing in the UCL if we have more depth and quality in wing-backs. Getting a proper LB would also allow us to play 4 at the back, which gives more tactical flexibility = more options to counter your UCL opponents.
  17. It would be nothing short of idiotic if the club went for another high-price CB when we are stocked there.
  18. Strange, Wolfsburg and City could. Maybe our scouts and coaches just plain suck at assessing potential development?
  19. Manchester United is interested? Mou sold him, can't see him being interested in him.
  20. What do you mean? He started the last game and the game before without Fabregas.
  21. I know, I mentioned that. But even then, when you spend 100 million on 3 players you expect them to improve you, in reality each of them is bench level at best. We didn't spend our money well enough, we could have done better and still kept net spend around 0 or a bit over. At least one of them could have been genuine starting material that would instantly improve us. It's infuriating to think that we scrimp on players who would actually take us to next level, but then some accountant with flawed football knowledge decides it's totally fine to sanction around 40 million on both Baka and Drinks.
  22. Spending money needs to be done wisely though. United have splashed some insane money, but they have barely improved let's be honest. We spent ~100 million on Drinkwater, Bakayoko and Zappacosta, but did those buys really improve us greatly? Judging by this season, I'd say no. You look at the money spent and go "wow, they must have really invested in some serious quality". Then you see that every equal amount that City spent compared to us was aimed at improving their quality and depth. Every equal amount we spent compared to them was to replace somebody. We will never overtake them with this policy, never.
  23. Nah, from our team I think only Hazard and Christensen would make his team. Maybe Kante too with Fernandinho dropping to bench, but I'm not sure about that either. Fabregas probably too slow for starting material, but would make an awesome supersub to feed their fantastic movement.
  24. You have to take into consideration that the last time Monaco won it was in 2000 and they had PSG to contend with, a team far more dominant in their league than anybody in the PL has ever been. Their season was a bigger achievement than ours.
