Mahrez or a new AMR in general is irrelevant to Barkley. Ross is a CM/CAM first and foremost, hopefully he will be used this way, needs to displace Bakayoko ASAP.
-
@Antonio8 what do you think about Palmieri? Can you compare him with Alonso?
-
Problem being he's not really a AMR, he hasn't really played there. On the left we got the undroppable Hazard and strikers Morata, Džeko (fingers crossed). We can't guarantee him regular game time and playing him on the right side might not be that effective because he can't cut inside. We would have to buy him for a big price = he needs to be a starter, don't think that's gonna happen. Arsenal would be perfect for him - Lacazette (Auba), Martial, Özil, Miki front-line would be very good on paper.
-
Rashford will probably stay as he's their academy talisman, Martial however I think is expendable... worth a shot in the summer?

Alexis Sanchez's astronomical Man United wages broken down as Arsenal star completes move to Old Trafford Per year before presumed 45 percent tax: £25.5m Per month before tax: £2.1m Per week before tax: £490,000 Per day before tax: £70,000 Per hour before tax: £2,900 Per minute before tax: £48 Per second before tax: 80p

If he had 3-4 underwhelming games in a row questions would need to be asked, what's strange about that?
-
He would play plenty here, Morata with his performances hasn't actually established himself as untouchable. Come, join the dark side!
-
Not very well, too weak. Not his natural game to be in physical battles.
-
Morata is not a target man. Why stall Tammy's progress by bringing him here? It's said the club/Conte wants an experienced backup option that can be relied on, Tammy is not the answer and will probably be trusted less than Bats. It makes sense to bring in an older more experienced stop-gap until Tammy develops to the level we need, if he does.
-
Because he's not a target man. It's obvious we're looking for a target man, keep up. Plus we're not going to shell out 50m+ for a striker when we just did, budget backup options is where we are at now.
-
Poor lad, he's been waking up every day to rumours about the likes of Carroll, Crouch, Benteke, Slimani and so on. You can tell he wants to play proper football. It's like a cry for help.
-
Depending on the opponent and the players we have available. 3-4-3 against weaker opponents and 3-5-2 when we want to solidify midfield. What I want to see is us having flexibility to switch to 4 man defence when needed.
-
They still mention Crouch as a target when it has been established the The Telegraph are just a bunch of lying click whores. Sky Sports now following them, are there any reliable sources left? BBC, The Times, Di Marzio and that's it? I'm sure this one is bullshit as well.
-
Yeah he definitely isn't. It can work against weak opponents, but imagine this midfield against true powerhouses. It would be same old same old - constantly soaking pressure and unable to keep possession or do anything creative with it. If we want to evolve in our style of play then playing Kante and Baka together won't achieve that.
-
Hardly bossed it. He did very well considering the circumstances (debut, derby, new league, no pre-season, recovered from injury), but overall it was not of bossing standard.
-
He saved 1 penalty and people are talking as if he's some kind of specialist already.
-
Pogba - Matic Sanchez - Mata - Martial Lukaku That's pretty damn good. Question is can Mourinho make that attacking potential work?

Chelsea: How the transfer recruitment process works
-
Think it was due to the forced sub of AC. Alonso was taken off because he was fatigued and bad, and as Jason said one of Willi/Bats was going to be given some rest having played ET the other day. Suspect the plan was to introduce Ross for Eden or Baka if not for the forced sub.
-
I am secretly hoping this Džeko+Emerson deal will make him stay. This is the other reason why I want it done so badly.
-
Fuck knows...

It was 2010, different times, different aims and goals for us. We were getting a bit stale with our performances (which was in part due to the club not strengthening or simply papering over the cracks). Roman maybe felt we weren't going in the direction he wanted with him. I believe if the same happened this day, he wouldn't get sacked, we are a different animal now.
-
He's my favourite. Jose burnt the bridges and made sure not much is felt towards him anymore (like he said about Lampard, the love story is over, the same or worse applies to him now). In fact my favourites were also King Carlo and Robbie, Italian power all the way!

At 5:30 he says the club asked him to work with our young players. I like that, we are not just neglecting them, but searching for options for them to break through.
