  1. Exactly. People are just putting more weight on Hazard because he's the only class attacker we have, they have given up hope on the others to produce anything... The more it makes me cringe when they target Hazard for our shit form. We ARE a one-man-team and when that one man isn't rubbing genies out of the bottle every game, he gets slaughtered.
  2. We have had plenty of performances like that and better over the years when Hazard's been here, I don't know what you're on about...
  3. Out of this list I'd take Lucas Hernandez instantly, he was a monster for France.
  4. For all his faults, we need to replace him, at the moment he is our best CB after Rüdiger. Who is the answer, I don't know, Rugani? Christensen?
  5. Heard he's hit the woodwork 5 times this season. With a bit more luck he'd have 6 goals by now, but nonetheless nearly doesn't count, and if they don't go in he becomes a burden to the team.
  6. Why would it affect CHO? One is a LW, the other RW. Hazard will be gone so this opens the door for CHO and Pulisic to play together.
  7. These are mistakes in your opinion, you cannot prove they are mistakes outright. Results > performances, but haven't you heard Sarri talking about performances over and over again? He certainly puts much emphasis on performance, much more than our previous result-oriented managers. Also, if you think that merely playing Emerson and CHO will take us to a new level, then you're just hyping a hypothetical situation because you don't like the current situation. You're speculating with that Pochettino and Klopp statement, you have no way of knowing who they would or would not play, so stop using imaginary scenarios involving other managers to downplay our manager.
  8. We know they won't, especially with Baba also coming back. Two need to go first.
  9. People turning on and pointing fingers at Sarri... He is not the problem, it's the players. Sarri needs time and good buys in the market. I do have one issue with him though, and it's the fact that he always makes like-for-like subs when losing, and it expectedly has minimal to no positive effect. It's still the same formation and shape that gave the opposition the lead and the one they have had no problems containing. Throw in more attackers, mix and change things up, surprise them and make them adjust. For all of Jose's and Conte's faults, at least in desperate times during games they played two strikers and threw everything they had at them... Sarri just seems too scared or too stubborn to do that. For example there was no point in keeping Kante on when chasing the game, overall he was quite wank anyway. I was hoping he'd bring on Cesc for Kante, but no, yet another like-for-like for Jorginho that changed nothing. I would have liked to see Giroud and RLC up top with Jorgi and Cesc feeding them in the last minutes, maybe it wouldn't have been the best idea since I'm no coach lol, but even I can see that the shape and the ideas need to be changed to break the bus.
  10. I made it home early (postponed gift shopping to the last minute tomorrow ) and just tuned it, luckily it's on TV! How have we been looking?
  11. FFS, I haven't seen like the last 3-4 games because every time I've been busy with something else, the same again today.
  12. Seriously, they're borrowing him? HAHAHA
  13. His agent is Mino Raiola. I've heard the club refuses to deal with him, no? Nevertheless, don't want him, he'd just be a distraction.
  14. On October 7th, Gourav Mukhi became the youngest goalscorer in the history of the Indian League at just 16 years old. Two months later, the player has been suspended for 6 months for lying about his age. He's actually 28. LOOOOOOOOL
  15. Lol, not gonna happen. If we sign some underwhelming overpriced stop-gap, then the board will relax and think their job is done. We won't buy another striker for a few years then, definitely not a top one. If we get him, next season he'll be fighting out with Giroud and possibly Morata or Bats still - all backup/reserve level. I've little doubt the board view him as good enough.
  16. Nah not England, definitely not another stint in EPL. Vesper named some good options: AC Milan, Roma, Schalke, Bayer Leverkusen, Valencia. He might give their leagues' top guns a really hard time with those teams, with Everton and such he wouldn't come close to anything. I don't think he would consider taking over a club that has no chance of winning anything, so there must be some potential to upset the odds. Could Real Madrid be an option for him? Perez is a fan, most of his antagonists from the squad are gone. But would they be so stupid? I think it's his best shot at getting a top job. And frankly it would be fascinating to see how he would handle it this time.
  17. He should go to a smaller above average mid-table club somewhere with his small team tactics. Try to challenge the big boys, make use of that whiny the world against us underdog siege mentality... might just work. But he's absolutely DONE at the top level. His methods work for shit at a club that should be favourites most times. Even his 3rd season with us, NOBODY was afraid of us anymore, EVERYBODY could beat us because of his archaic approach. At United it was even worse. His highlight was finishing second and he tried to sugarcoat it by saying it was his "biggest achievement ever", yeah gtfo with that bullshit. We beat City to the title with almost the same squad that he would have got us a relegated with, so they aren't unbeatable. Trying to brainwash everybody to think that that United team was so crap, making it appear like he was doing a great job. How much did he spend exactly? How much time did he have exactly? Not only that, but he also went on to trash us every opportunity he got, making himself hated by the only people who had his back in England. He completely alienated himself from everyone and made himself an easy target. But first, before taking on a new job, I think he should take a sabbatical. I seriously think he might be depressed.
  18. He is shit, but there is grave danger that our board will look at his 2-3 good performances and ignore the rest 100 shit ones and give him an extension.
  19. The Guardian report that the British Transport Police were alerted to Chelsea fans singing anti-semitic songs on a train. However, when they arrived at the scene, nobody came forward to make a complaint. They interviewed the Chelsea fans and no conclusions were made. --- There is a wider agenda against Chelsea for whatever reason, I think it's pretty clear with all those allegations coming out all of a sudden. No complaints made on the scene where this allegedly occured = nothing happened, yet it passes news threshold. Wonder if there is any connection to Cold War 2.0, considering the situation in which jewish Abramovich is now.
  20. Not that he has much competition lol. Alex? Luiz? Cahill? Struggling to think of anybody beyond them. 4, 5 years... more like if he keeps it up till the end of this season, he's undisputed top 3
  21. Terry > Carvalho > Rüdiger Anybody else think he is on his way to cementing a top 3 CB spot in the Roman Era?
  22. Who are the HG players who are good enough and we can realistically get? I'm hearing talk of Callum Wilson... as 3rd striker, okay, but not main striker or even backup would be a bit underwhelming. Could be worse though. Who else? Ramsey perhaps? Can't think of many who are obtainable and worth it, better just use our youth.
  23. Hahah mate that's not gonna happen. Isco has 3½ years left on his contract, Hazard has 1½.... We'll be lucky to get 100mill flat for Eden without any swapsies. However I wouldn't mind a Isco<->Hazard swap, it would be pretty fair considering the circumstances both clubs are facing.
  24. “We will see, it'll be up to me to make the decision." Implying that there is concrete interest and it is all in his hands now? Why would he say that otherwise I wonder... Anyway, he's already made his decision I'm afraid, he just doesn't want to anger the club and fans by saying outright that he'll fuck off unless there is some force majeure stopping it. But please just shut up and concentrate on your football, stop tarnishing your legacy with subpar performances and whoring to outside buyers.
