When the team is in bad form, manager deserves time to get it back on track.
But when the same manager insists with Ivanovic over Azpilicueta, when he claims we need "height" despite we dont have a proper free kick/corner crosser. And when the manager who is all about work rate and off the ball movement and fighting spirit keeps playing Fabregas who is absolute wanker. And when manager doesnt give a chance to RLC (for who said he will be given proper chance) despite our team is out of form for months, then I have my doubts.
We play like shit. We have shit results. We dont evolve youth. We dont improve individualy or on team level. Not to mention all the off-pitch crap we had this season.
Noting wrong with bad form. It comes back and there is little a manager can do. But decisions are all his. And Mou is making bad decision after bad decision for some time now. Its his philosophy. And that wont change.

Mourinho still in charge at this point, while Ancelotti, RDM and even AVB were fired when the club was in better situation, speaks loud about a board that just doesn't know what they are doing.
The board is refusing to take responsabilities. Its suppa covenient to have Mourinho in charge, he is such a big football character, the press keep saying he is the best ever and that keeping his job is the right thing to do, Jose still is popular with the fans (who usually don't have a clue about what running a football club is about), so Mourinho is the perfect scapegoat, he is the perfect manager for a weak board.
His presence create the false appearence that they are doing things right,. The board just don't have the balls to make bold decisions, like firing Mourinho, or giving support to an unproven manager. There is nothing special in showing Mourinho full support, actually thats the easiest thing to do. When the team is getting Barcelona rejects and selling Mata, KDB, Lukaku, Luiz anc company, Mourinho is behind the whole thing, so who can blame the board? You know, he is Jose Mourinho, so he must know what he is doing, and no one will say a bad word about a club who just let the amazing Mourinho do his job.
If the team face a terrible season, fail to even reach the top 4, don't get UCL football or even Europa League football, again no one will say a bad word about the board. Who can blame a club to giving full support to Jose Mourinho? Probably the best manager ever, best manager in club history, football genius, Special One.

Can't emphasise just how much my admiration of him stretches beyond simply his football ability. His dedication to his fitness was exemplary and something every young player should strive to emulate. His class on the pitch is also an example every player coming through the ranks should look to embody.
Off the pitch he's always been a top bloke too. Met him a few times in different situations and he's been nothing but welcoming and kind. Was especially good with my younger sister when I introduced her at a charity function. He was the first player I think she truly got interested in football through and he couldn't have been sweeter when I explained that. He seemed a bit embarrassed but took some time to chat with her when he really didn't have to.
Probably doesn't get mentioned much but he's got to be one of the best transfers in the history of the Premier League. The level of consistency he reached was remarkable, as was his ability to stay fit (another testament to his impeccable preparation on the training pitch which put those moronic 'Fat Frank' comments from those Hammers cunts into perspective).
A fantastic ambassador for this club and for this league. Wish him the best this summer too.

What about if Jose was wrong here ?
Have you thought about it yet ?
Not everything Jose does may be considered as the best, I read.

Nobody would be asking to spend more if 80% of our spending budget wasn't used on one winger and 3 attacking midfielders, while already having a damn good one.
And if Terry wasn't getting older...
And if Cole wasn't getting older...
And if Torres was back to his best...

    To sell him to united.
37 Million to some foreign team is fine. I don't particularly want him to go but, he clearly isn't in Jose's plans so we may as well cash in before his price drops to much.
But 37 Mil to a rival (May not be this season but they probably will next) is crazy imo. Mata, Rooney and RVP should score more than enough to see united into the top 4. So if we want to sell him to united, i would expect us to demand a fee slightly north of 50. They can't be the only ones wanting him.

Real Madrid twice sacked managers immediately after winning the CL. Doesn't make it OK.
Firing AVB and Scolari was necessary, Firing RDM was not...A month ago we were 1st and scored 4 VS Spurs, so he
can't be that bad (besides he won us the CL and he's a club legend). I think that if something needs a change it's the boardroom/staff - Gourlay, Buck, Emenalo etc.
When Kenyon was here it worked a lot diffidently, as I still remember what they did to Wilkins...

I have to say there is a bad atmosphere. Sacking RDM, and now the racism thing. Its just depressing, months after winning the PL, perhaps the worst week in recent years. Thats chaos. Its really sad when you open the sites and Chelsea is everywhere, but its not about football, its about how the owner is mad, about how the Chelsea almost destroyed a poor referees life. I dont like this, I hope we just win against City and then we stop talking about this kind of thing.
I really feel sorry for RDM, but imo he is the reason we have so many problems right now. RDM never had the same power the previous managers had, the board never saw him as the right man. He was given the job because no other top manager would aceept this job when the world knows the club is waiting for Guardiola. Even AVB had more power, lets remember that he told Alex and Anelka to leave during the season.
We were left with a small squad, full of weakness, this board is doing a really stupid job when they keep buying players like De Bruyne, Lukaku, Marin and Aziplicueta. A club like Chelsea needs a manager like Guardiola, Mourinho, Hiddink...or Benitez. RDM was not ready yet. Working in a club like Chelsea means the manager has to build a relationship with the people that have the power, you need to be a politician.
There is a lot more in RDM sacking than just a couple of bad results.

Im going to go on a bit of an out of character rant here because tbh i am sickened by some of the stuff i have read about Roman these past 48 hours.
Now do i agree with his decision to sack Roberto Di Matteo? no, but some of the knee jerk reaction's dearie me, didn't we learn from the AVB sacking when we hastily stripped Lampard of his legend's tag, only to back track a couple of months later and realize he wasn't as guilty as we thought.
Roman is a Chelsea fan like we are, if i was the owner i would probably do things that would have some of you tearing your hair out, we would do what we think is best for the club as a whole and Roman is doing that.
We seem to want managerial stability, this is not the ancient times any more it just doesn't happen in football these days, Ferguson is a complete one off as soon as he is gone United will join the growing club or chopping and changing managers, it's the way football works these days (rightly or wrongly) and by in large it get's result's. Roman is not this evil owner who changes manager's for the sake of it, it's just the way modern football works just we for some reason seem to be scapegoated for it. Roman's method's get's result's, period.
Our stability is Roman, and believe me id rather change managers and have a dedicated owner than vice versa.
Below are the stats of most top European clubs (and Tottenham) and how many times they have changed manager since Roman's takeover at Chelsea.
    Chelsea: 8
    Bayern Munich: 7
    Real Madrid: 10
    Inter Milan: 9
    Ajax: 7
    FC Porto: 8
    Tottenham: 6
Now if you ask the two English clubs who are in a better position now compared to 10 years ago most will say (after City) Chelsea and Spurs, surprise, surprise the two serial manager changing clubs off the last decade, but what both clubs have is stability upstairs, which is much more important.
So can someone explain why are we the 'joke' and the 'poison chalice for managers' when their is more than 1 other club around just as bad when it comes to chopping and changing ill never know.
Constant managerial changes are the norm in most football clubs on this planet these days, not just Chelsea, Ferguson is a one off, we need to get the idea of us finding our version out of our head right now.
We might if were lucky find a manger who will stick around for 3-5 years but another Fergie? as much chance as a lottery win so best never get too comfortable with a manager, because the days of managerial changes here and abroad are not going away, so best get use to it.
