  1. Apparently. Good work by Malouda, but I think Ballack was off.
  2. Kevin Doyle admits he wants to leave Reading if one the Premier League's top four clubs show an interest in signing him. The striker has been linked with a move to Chelsea as manager Avram Grant attempts to add further firepower to his squad following the £15million signing of Nicolas Anelka. Reading manager Steve Coppell has stated that he will not allow any of his players to leave the Madejski in the transfer window. However, Doyle has called on the Royals boss to allow him to leave if a top club comes calling so that he can further his career. Speculation "It's just speculation with me and Chelsea at the moment but it's good for the ego," Doyle told the Daily Star. "If one of the top four want to sign me I would want to go for it. "When I left Cork City to come to Reading people said I would never play but if you listen to comments like that you never progress. "You don't just want to sit there on the bench but you have to give it a go and then a year down the line you may go back. "But you have to take the opportunity if it comes, otherwise you will never know how far you can go." From SSN
  3. Hope to see Anelka soon. Pizarro is running around like a headless chicken. I feel sorry for him because he is trying, it reminds me of Shevchenko this time last campaign.
  4. Cech's save was more comfortable than he made it look Glad to see him looking more confident.
  5. Arsenal 1-0 Birmingham Aston Villa 1-0 Reading Chelsea 1-0 Tottenham Derby 0-0 Wigan Everton 0-0 Man City Middlesbrough 1-0 Liverpool West Ham 1-1 Fulham Shaun with a good challenge. Good play by Ballack.
  6. Mate, use the edit button Deserved yellow card.
  7. I spoke too soon, they are showing Aston Villa Belletti scores... I was just about to say he was playing well
  8. Some American footie channel we have.
  9. I'm watching it on the tv. I'll let you know of any major incidents.
  10. Anelka, Drogba, Shevchenko, Joe Cole, Lampard, Ballack, Kalou, Malouda, Wright-Phillips, Sinclair, Sahar... our attacking options are endless.
  11. Our preliminary squad for today: Chelsea (from): Cech, Cudicini, Hilario, Belletti, Ferreira, Carvalho, Alex, Ben-Haim, A Cole, Bridge, J Cole, Sidwell, Wright-Phillips, Malouda, Pizarro, Sinclair, Ballack, Sahar, Anelka.
  12. A goalscoring debut against the Yids would earn him instant legend status. Well, not quite, but he'd certainly gain some respect.
  13. Well PSG are after him, but they have been absolutely woeful thus far in Ligue Un. Apparently €15 million is what Spurs have offered, which is about £11 million
  14. The hardest ones still going... Scholes Butt Essien Gattuso Toulalan
  15. Malouda will never set the world alight - he plays consistently at 70%, whereas Robben might score a brace one game and just fade away in the next.
  16. They missed Mikel. Not for reasons of him discovering potential. Because he'll break your legs if you ain't careful Agree with Benzema. The guy is incredible.
  17. Short and sweet AND gets the point across
  18. You'd rather play Shevchenko than Drogba? This thread is becoming a joke
  19. Yeah, I'd prefer Benzema. But Fred is a good player and seems eager to leave.
  20. He is young and ambitious, I can see him returning to France. Lyon and Bordeaux have made enquiries.
  21. Remember 2005? Liverpool 1 - 4 Chelsea "That's Why We're Champions!"
  22. As you have already said Bayern is a no - Jurgen Klinsmann signed for them and takes over next season. Its between Milano and F.C.Barcelona in my books.
  23. Most of our strikers have, but most of our strikers have come from foreign leagues. Don't expect debut hattricks, because he needs time to settle and adapt to our system. At Long Ball-ton Wanderers, they rarely play from the back and break forward so he will have to learn our methods of attack.
