Kevin Doyle admits he wants to leave Reading if one the Premier League's top four clubs show an interest in signing him. The striker has been linked with a move to Chelsea as manager Avram Grant attempts to add further firepower to his squad following the £15million signing of Nicolas Anelka. Reading manager Steve Coppell has stated that he will not allow any of his players to leave the Madejski in the transfer window. However, Doyle has called on the Royals boss to allow him to leave if a top club comes calling so that he can further his career. Speculation "It's just speculation with me and Chelsea at the moment but it's good for the ego," Doyle told the Daily Star. "If one of the top four want to sign me I would want to go for it. "When I left Cork City to come to Reading people said I would never play but if you listen to comments like that you never progress. "You don't just want to sit there on the bench but you have to give it a go and then a year down the line you may go back. "But you have to take the opportunity if it comes, otherwise you will never know how far you can go." From SSN
Hope to see Anelka soon. Pizarro is running around like a headless chicken. I feel sorry for him because he is trying, it reminds me of Shevchenko this time last campaign.
Arsenal 1-0 Birmingham Aston Villa 1-0 Reading Chelsea 1-0 Tottenham Derby 0-0 Wigan Everton 0-0 Man City Middlesbrough 1-0 Liverpool West Ham 1-1 Fulham Shaun with a good challenge. Good play by Ballack.
Well PSG are after him, but they have been absolutely woeful thus far in Ligue Un. Apparently €15 million is what Spurs have offered, which is about £11 million
They missed Mikel. Not for reasons of him discovering potential. Because he'll break your legs if you ain't careful Agree with Benzema. The guy is incredible.
As you have already said Bayern is a no - Jurgen Klinsmann signed for them and takes over next season. Its between Milano and F.C.Barcelona in my books.
Most of our strikers have, but most of our strikers have come from foreign leagues. Don't expect debut hattricks, because he needs time to settle and adapt to our system. At Long Ball-ton Wanderers, they rarely play from the back and break forward so he will have to learn our methods of attack.
