  1. Stelling is a television icon, and no wonder why!
  2. Footballers don't care about respect, only the amount of money they put in their wallets after each game.
  3. A game against the reserve team at Cobham would be ideal, IMO.
  4. Like to get him, but I don't think we will. However, with the money we have, nothing is impossible, in fairness. I'll be very surprised if we get him, because we have so many CAMs!
  5. To be fair, knowing what the tabloids are like, DD might have said he didn't want to sign for the Blues in 2004 and those quotes have just appeared again and again. I doubt he would talk to so many players, but it isn't the constant "I'm staying"/"I'm leaving" stuff that annoys me - its his diving. In 06/07 he cut it out and was arguably our most popular player.
  6. I don't think we would spend such an amount of money just to sell him off.
  7. I'm not too sure. He needed a season to settle in, like almost all players do. I think keeping him to January wouldn't be a bad option, especially as Drogba is injured at the moment and Sala is at the Olympics. He won't play alot, but we could flog him in January for a cut price I guess.
  8. My mum always asks me to chose the numbers 23 is the only number I chose all the time... won a tenner a few times, thats all.
  9. You seriously think Sinclair is better than Malouda?
  10. I haven't laughed that much since I first saw Benitez with a beard
  11. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and people have to respect those of other people, no matter if you agree or disagree with them. I think its a little hypocritical to call badboy an idiot for blasting someone else's opinion when others are doing exactly the same to him. This is a discussion forum where people are allowed to voice their opinions, so let's keep it friendly. If you disagree with an opinion, slag off the point, not the poster. Let's keep it friendly, people That wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, but it isn't too good for the newer members when they see a load of insults But anyway, as Kez says, the difference between DD11 and Sheva is that Sheva tries every game. When Drogba is scoring goals, he is the best forward in the world. When he's diving around like a bull in a china shop, he's a complete twat. That's just his character. Regardless of the point he is here only because no other club wanted him - which is, IMO, a fallacy, as Drogba is an exceptional player - I think we can all agree a Chelsea with Drogba is better than one without him.
  12. We have a lot of talent coming through our youth academy. Give it time. In the meanwhile, we have Kalou, Mikel, Sinclair and di Santo, which is more than enough.
  13. I saw this on the Chelsea website. Absolutely disgusting, the money goes to charity, for christ sake!
  14. Correct. In shoot-outs, I would say Lampard and Ballack to have the first and fifth penalties, they are the most reliable. Ashley Cole and Kalou take good penalties as well, and so does Essien. Deco isn't half bad either, but I suppose in a pressure situation it is a lot more difficult.
  15. Dnjepr Dnjepropetrovsk? They used to be a good side in the 80s, I think, reached the later stages of the UCL once or twice I think. They're in the UEFA Cup this season as well, so it will be European football at the least.
  16. And the DVD is the same one you get with the child's membership package, as well.
  17. That was my initial thought, but by giving him the number 9 it is pretty clear that the club have big plans for him, and therefore he is getting a lot of support.
  18. Ahh yes, I can see the advertising boards now.
  19. Not sure about the source, but if Didier has publicly come out and said he is willing to stay for a couple more seasons, then the man has my blessing.
  20. And hopefully the club will decline such a request. That number belongs to Gianfranco Zola.
  21. It will be a couple of weeks before we see Ballack, in my opinion, he has had only 45 minutes of action so far, remember.
  22. Malouda is the better player. At Lyon, he was arguably one of the best wingers in Europe. He needed time to settle, like Ballack, like Drogba, like everyone. However, some people just can't accept the fact that professional footballers actually are human and therefore need time. So like Ballack, and like Drogba, he'll be an improved man next year. I don't see why SWP should be given a fourth year after failing to impress whilst Malouda has had only one.
  23. I get the membership pack and the Chelsea mag for just £10 - the joys of being 15
  24. Well, apparently, Robinho wants to come to Chelsea. Whether he is allowed to or not is a different matter.
