  1. Agreed, I don't see how we could realistically improve it drastically.
  2. Delighted he's signed the deal, he's obviously an important player to us.
  3. Maybe, but this just reminds me of the Eduardo ordeal, where the player was just unfortunate. Maybe he did try and injure him, but I doubt he wanted to break his opponent's leg.
  4. Totally agreed, been the league's best player so far in my opinion.
  5. I think we could win both this season, but a HUGE slice of luck would be needed. However, if you offered me a Premier League an FA Cup double, I'd bite your hand off.
  6. Cheers mate, but we all do our bit to keep the site going
  7. Sheva made about 60 starts for us and scored 22 goals, which to me isn't too bad at all.
  8. Ii would love to see us win the Champions League, but for me, you can only be the true European Champions if you have first won your domestic title. The PL for me, please.
  9. Errrrrr. There's no problem in this thread...
  10. Oh my Jesus Christ. That's disgusting. Just one of those unfortunate tackles where you go for the ball but end up taking the player's leg out.
  11. Modric has broken his leg, which is a massive, massive blow for Tottenham. I saw the actual challenge and whilst it was a foul I couldn't see any serious injury at first, but it appears he has broken his fibula and will be out for 6-7 weeks before returning to training, so he'll be missing against us.
  12. Why couldn't he ever do that for us?
  13. Jovetic is a wonderfully talented player, but he operates as a wing forward more than an out-and-out striker, and I feel we don't need him in the squad.
  14. mashinist, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but just remember that some people might be a little intimidated or even appalled about talking about engaging in violence, so maybe you should keep those views elsewhere please, mate Thanks.
  15. Cheers mate, I really appreciate that Big thanks to you for reading!
  16. I think your PM has been disabled because of sending advertisements over the system. I don't have a quarrel with that but since its Jim's site, I think he wants everyone to ask him first if people can advertise on the site.
  17. Awesome news, I wasn't aware of that. Well done everyone.
  18. I know he did a stupid thing, but he's human and we all make mistakes. I think its pretty disgusting that he's been forced to retire from football, in all honesty. Like I say, I don't condone what he did, but its impossible not to feel sorry for him. It does serve him right, however, but since re-establishing himself as a footballer since the drugs scandal, he's been pretty sensational for Fiorentina, and its sad to see him retire IMO.
  19. Stoke vs Chelsea VS The FA Premier League, Saturday 12 September 2009, Britannia Stadium - 15:00 Kick-off Chelsea travel to the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke City. The Blues have a flawless record thus far this season, recordings wins over Hull City, Sunderland, Fulham and Burnley, whilst also beating Manchester United in the Community Shield. Stoke's impressive form early on has seen them take a respectable 7 points from the twelve available, and are currently fifth in the table, ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool amongst others. The Midlanders have a perfect home record so far this term, however, and a Dave Kitson strike gave the Potters a 1-0 win over Sunderland before the international break. Nevertheless, Jose Bosingwa and Nicolas Anelka goals gave Chelsea a 2-0 success here last season, and the Blues will be looking for a repeat under Carlo Ancelotti. Match chat here - C'MON THE BLUES!
  20. If you want to chat, may I suggest Windows Live Messenger?
  21. Absolutely gutted. Anelka and Sturridge as our only recognised, experienced strikers in January then.
  22. Being reported in all the tabloids here in England, so there's probably some truth in these reports.
  23. We're very lucky to have Didier and Bosingwa back from their bans for the Porto and Atletico away matches.
  24. Kalou is a very frustrating player and always does these aimless dribbles up the field without looking for a teammate, and usually runs into a blind alley. Its nothing new.
