  1. Lost Sky because of bad weather in the UK, fucking furious.
  2. Then why make incredulous accusations?
  3. I've had it with your 'holier than thou' attitude. You think you're something special because you're a Mod on a hip-hop forum. Do us a favour, leave, grow up, then come back.
  4. LMAO at you making yourself look like (even more of) a twat, it was Steve who deleted it.
  5. Am I the only one happy with that performance? A few loose passes but we've been solid. It was obvious Wigan were going to come at us, and with that, have a lot of possession. Good defensive performance and we've looked sharp up front since scoring.
  6. I can't wait to revive this topic as soon as he wins us a game... oh, how fun that will be!
  7. France in general's simply stunning in my opinion! The Velodrome is a beautiful stadium, I've never been in it but I've driven past it before. Quite striking!
  8. As far as Kalou is concerned, when he scores and the cynicism of our more fickle supporters is forgotten when they celebrate, the people sticking up for him will have double the reason to smile.
  9. Great post. That's exactly what I mean when I say you have to consider the amount of substitute appearances he makes. I'm trying to find statistics on how many minutes he has played, but I haven't been able to find any yet. The fact of the matter is he is nowhere near as bad as people make out. And besides... he crossed the ball in from the left, it landed right on Riise's head... :blue scalf:
  10. Don't see why he can't, he isn't one of the world's best goalkeepers for no reason!
  11. Will you call him a waste of space if he scores the winning goal at the City of Manchester Stadium, Anfield or Old Trafford?
  12. Lampard and Bran are both fit for tomorrow. Ramires won't take part and Bosingwa is back in training.
  13. Stat of the day: Petr Cech has not conceded a goal in 406 minutes of Barclays Premier League action since Gareth Bale scored for Spurs in April. INJURY NEWS - Chelsea have Branislav Ivanovic fit for the trip to the DW Stadium and Frank Lampard has recovered completely from an ankle knock.
  14. Indeed they can be misleading - he can play awful and score a brace, for instance. But still very interesting reading in my book, his goals-to-games average is better than Anelka and Malouda.
  15. Remember Terry hitting the ball over from a yard out in the 0-0 draw with Hull in 2009? Malouda missing an open goal against Stoke? Essien hitting the bar from two yards against Arsenal in 2006? Lampard's missed glorious chances; as have Anelka, Drogba, et al. I find us Chelsea fans can be incredibly cynical! You can cheer when he scores, but boo him when he passes up good chances. Don't get me wrong, he drives me up the wall with some of his performances, but as far as I'm concerned, we as fans should be focusing on the brilliant things he did last season, like the brilliant header against Cardiff, his hattrick against Stoke, his performance at Anfield and so on. No footballer is perfect! His performances are improving and he is becoming a big goal threat for us. The statistics demonstrate that! You have to appreciate the number of substitute appearances Kalou has made, though. 2006/07 - 58 appearances (25 starts/33 sub appearances), 9 goals + 10 assists - a goal every 6.0 games/a goal every 2.8 starts. 2007/08 - 44 appearances (31 starts/13 sub appearances), 9 goals + 10 assists - a goal every 4.9 games/a goal every 3.5 starts. 2008/09 - 43 appearances (30 starts/13 sub appearances), 10 goals + 10 assists - a goal every 4.3 games/a goal every 3.0 starts. 2009/10 - 37 appearances (21 starts/16 sub appearances), 12 goals + 5 assists - a goal every 3.1 games/a goal every 1.8 starts. 2010/11 - 2 appearances (1 start/1 sub appearances), 1 goal + 0 assists - a goal every 2.0 games/a goal every 1.0 starts. Meaning in 184 games (108 starts/76 sub appearances), Kalou has scored 41 goals + 35 assists, meaning he has contributed to a goal every 2.4 games/1.4 starts. Not bad reading in my books.
  16. Lampard missed a penalty but people seem keen to forget that one quickly. Kalou's decent. He will never be as good as Anelka or Didier, so we should stop comparing them. He's got his best years ahead of him, is exceptionally fast and always gets 10 goals a season. He is improving - gradually - and even if he isn't starting XI material, he's a brilliant substitute with his pace and trickery. He's a valuable and underrated asset, people only seem to focus on his mistakes rather than his good performances.
  17. Thank God it's over. Locked.
  18. I'm not going to waste my time arguing with you. If you don't like it, you can leave as far as I'm concerned. My contribution to the thread was completely pertinent - I was discussing one of my favourite albums. On the other hand you were talking about hip hop artists in a thread unrelated to the subject. And for the record, I don't mind hip hop at all. I prefer other genres, but I have a wide pallet and listen to artists such as Tupac Shakur and Jay-Z.
  19. Makes you feel so appreciative of Michael Essien being able to recover, I guess
  20. Where's Bosingwa when we need him, eh? Not heard anything on Ivanovic's injury, hopefully it isn't anything huge.
  21. Absolutely distraught for the lad. I hope he's given a coaching role with the academy, because he's a star.
  22. I'll try and do the Cole one tomorrow Jim
