Can I say Robben - Drogba - Duff? The fluidity of our team, particularly in 04/05, was absolutely outstanding. I loved Gudjohnsen, but I also loved Crespo and I loved how he and Drogba were rotated in 05/06. Granted they only got 30 goals between them but the contrast was fantastic. On the few occasions we played them together we absolutely hammered teams, especially the 4-1 against West Ham where Maniche was sent off and we were 0-1 down.

I've never been a fan of seeing goalkeepers wear the armband. Of course they have the benefit of seeing the whole of the pitch and there have been numerous successful GK captains in the past, ie. Casillas, Dino Zoff, Nikopolidis, etc. etc., I just prefer having a defender as the captain and the leader of the team.
