  1. We don't have any wingers full-stop. Time to start playing 4-4-2.
  2. Yeah, they only gave Webb 7.5 when it was clearly a 9-worthy effort.
  3. 4-4-2 with Sturridge and Drogba/Lukaku please. Ta.
  4. Yeah, my mistake. The cut-off date used to be February 28th, now its December 31st.
  5. I thought the mark for the 5th yellow card equals a suspension was the end of February? Edit - no, you're right, the amnesty used to be the end of February but as of last season it is Dec 31st. No Bosingwa
  6. Yeah, remember him and Ramires playing out Fergy time last season in March at The Bridge? 6 minutes in the United half, and then Rambo got Vidic sent off
  7. Chatbox slows the site down and takes so much away from the discussions in the topics. It's a nice suggestion, but we've done it before and we've paid the penalty in terms of actual activity in topics.
  8. Fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, and for so many people willing to join in!
  9. Surprised by the votes for Ivanovic. Conceded a penalty (albeit very unlucky) and didn't close down Giggs for the third goal.
  10. Well we can try both ways and see which one works the best?
  11. Not sure if anyone has posted (or even noticed...) this, but Ivanovic is suspended after picking up his 5th yellow card of the season. John Terry will also miss the game. Bosingwa - Luiz - Cahill - Cole
  12. Can see him moving in the summer of 2013 if we don't sort shit out soon.
  13. First time I've seen Michael Essin looked tired. Fair play to him for running his heart out. Take note, Sturridge, Malouda and Torres.
  14. Torres had a fucking weird game. He held the ball up brilliantly, and his movement is class. Outside the box he is brilliant, as that cross demonstrated, but we did not pay that amount of money for him to play as a winger.
  15. There has been a proposal put forward by Kostas, which has been supported by members and staff alike: This proposal, therefore... Would see a change in the current Matchday Chat set-up, by having multiple threads for pre-match and in-game discussion, and then post-match thoughts. A possible extension of this is to have three separate topics. The pre-match thread can be used for discussion of tactics and formations, and would be a good way of separating the build-up from the actual match events, which I find some members reviewing as a good memento of past famous results. Then a thread would be opened up and dedicated to the actual match chat, closing a short while after the game ends. Finally a third topic would be opened in the Matthew Harding Stand, which would include opinions and perspective, and could also be integrated with Man of the Match discussion. This may seem a little excessive, however it would be a good way of organising match chat threads and discussion. Please select which option you would prefer. If a change is voted in favour of, we will give it a trial run against Everton this weekend.
  16. Will put it to a poll then. May give it a trial run against Everton and see how it goes if it is a popular option. VOTE HERE -
  17. In the corporate hospitality seats at Old Trafford, one would imagine, cheering on United.
  18. I feel confident of a good response here. Jelavic will score on his full debut but Sturridge will steal the show. You heard it here first.
  19. They do that on ThisIsAnfield as well. I quite like the proposal, because I find a handful of members make some brilliant analyses and observations but they are crowded out by people making immature comments/being overly-dramatic/letting their emotions claim the better of them. In that case would you prefer a pre-match build-up thread (made a week before, closing fifteen minutes before kick-off), an actual match chat open for the duration of the game and for about half an hour afterwards, and then a post-match discussion?
