He's really fucking useless, isn't he?
-
The only reason we didn't lose today is this guy.
-
Sign some fucking players.
-
Absolutely pathetic. We were lucky not to lose. Did Ryan make a single save?? No. Kepa, on the other hand, made one great save and two very good ones. There is something very, very wrong with the menality of this team.

Hahaha reading through this is hilarious compared to this time 12 months ago! I'm sure even I was guilty of slandering the little genius.

What a despicable human being.

On a two-month hiatus, apologies

Erm... Ruben Loftus-Cheek?
-
Dammit. Kidding of course. Or am I? Excellent result. The second half was generally good. Their goalkeeper made some good saves (none of them were as outstanding as people are making it out to be, however...); we hit the bar; missed some golden opportunities and, inexplicably, had a wonder-clearance at the end to deny us the layer of gloss our efforts deserved. However, winning 1-0 feels really, really good - regardless of the opposition, that is two home clean sheets on the bounce and it means we've only conceded three goals in our last five games in all competitions (with one of those three goals being a wonder-volley). The defence is steadily improving, though it hasn't necessarily been the most testing opposition. What I am pleased to see is that, in those five games, we've only conceded ten shots on target in that time. That's a step in the right direction.

PARK THE BUS FC 2012 NEEDED

I agree on both points:

These threads are really quiet when players are in form, aren't they... he's proving a lot of people (myself included...) wrong with his performances. He isn't anywhere close to being as sensational as some Chelsea fan are making him out to be, but he is, nonetheless, playing some great football and seems to be enjoying the level of leadership entrusted in him by Lampard.
-
Precisely! Hopefully, he is now properly past his injury and can get a run in the team. Only Hazard in 2012/13, when we first signed him, excited me as much as Callum currently does. There is just an air of unpredictable genius about him.
-
I don't wish him any negativity at all. But watching our style of play this season, whilst he would obviously be a step up on Willian or Pedro right now, I don't think he is missed even half as much as we feared.
-
On yesterday's performance, it won't be long before he's replacing Pedro and Willian.
-
He didn't score yesterday but I don't think that means he had a bad game. He links the play almost as well as Giroud does, in my honest opinion! Ryan made one superb save 1v1 (you might argue Tammy should have scored, but it was a decent finish and excellent goalkeeping, in truth), but what I liked most was his high pressing, which almost resulted in him stealing a goal from a poor back pass. The thing that surprises me the most about him is that he is quite an intelligent footballer with a good understanding of the game, and he is able to appraise the situation quite well for a young player. He's won me over, as I had expressed doubts about both his goalscoring abilities in the Premier League, and his intelligence to play as a lone striker.
-
He's shit, Sarri's son, liability, offers nothing, only passes sideways, bla bla bla. Oh how you have all been converted and have joined the Jorginho Hype Train, I love to see it!
-
Honest question: are we missing him right now?

Worst Chelsea players in 21st century?

Until Abraham, I'd have you know Boulahrouz was our best number 9 since Hasselbaink... -
A draw here wouldn't have been the worst result, but the defeat to Valencia means this now has to be 3 points.
-
I came on here to read analysis of our game versus Brighton, but I seem to have entered a parallel universe where people seem to be discussing Formula 1 instead. Must have clicked on the wrong thread...
-
Grimsby will fancy their chances of getting a result here. Hah, isn't it hilarious that we're CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB and we're not even confident of beating fucking Grimsby. No disrespect, but come on. That's how bad things are.
-
Some bloke on Twitter mathematically proved that VAR is accurate to something like 19.7cm, so why are they scrutinizing by millimetres if they technically can't actually prove it? All a nonsense and we were better off without it.
-
I agree - at least in theory. We absolutely have to beat Grimsby and Brighton; failure to do that would be absolutely disastrous. There are some tricky away games there, though. Burnley and Southampton are never nice places to go to. I mean, have you ever been to Burnley? Jesus Christ, it's like you've gone through a time portal and ended up in Coventry during the Blitz.
