So City built a new football club to massage Frank's ego so it didn't make it look as if he was betraying his past loyalties? I thought Lampard was supposed to be an intelligent person, did he think no-one would find out?
-
Yep, he's played us for fools quite magnificently.
-
Yes, Gimenez has been incredible for this this year.
-
ROMERO ABOVE CECH HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
-
Thibaut's new gloves. Petr's are nicer though...
-
Many outlets are saying Watford was clean sheet #223. It was #224. He played more than 70 minutes in the PL vs Arsenal and kept a clean sheet. By PL regulations that constitutes a clean sheet for a substitute goalkeeper.
-
Apart from the following clubs - Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United and perhaps Arsenal, he'd have a very, very good chance at being number 1 at any other Premier League club.
-
What a waste of a signing, he's not as good as Aguero or even Negredo who they've loaned out... he'll be on the bench from day one. Waste.
-
He's better than both of them IMO.
-
Thibaut's obviously a good chef, especially when it comes to sausage dishes...
-
Hazard's technique isn't that great if the goalkeeper stands up. He scores so often because he waits for the keeper to bend their knee, indicating which way they intend to dive. If you stay still, as Maribor's Jasmin Handanovic and Jesper Hansen of Nordsjaelland both did, it makes it difficult for Eden as he has to try and open his foot to put it in either corner from very close proximity to the ball. I don't think it'll be long before more goalkeepers work that out tbh.
-
He had more chances than Fernando Torres, sadly when they'd run out of personalities by the time he got to the front of the queue. An absolute twat devoid of any sense of humour and an horrifically inflated sense of self importance. He's a made match in heaven for the Shed End. And for the record:
-
Those figures are excellent, it wouldn't be too extreme to say those statistics would be even better if he'd have been able to play the full 90 against Maribor at home, too.
-
I loved Nando, but thank God he's now in the "ex Blues" section. I hope for his sake he can recover his goalscoring touch because he is a legend of Spanish football.
-
Thanks for helping to save football at Anfield, Mark! What a great professional. With Chelsea he recorded his 150th and 151st PL clean sheets, putting him third in the all-time list. He kept eight clean sheets in twelve games.

Mourinho: Cech staying, Schwarzer to Leicester
BlueLion. replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Chelsea Articles
Thibaut was on the bench today so I'm presuming he's fine. -
Chelsea manager José Mourinho has spoken about the Blues' goalkeeping options following today's 3-0 FA Cup win over Watford. With Petr Cech starting and putting in a solid performance, the Chelsea manager confirmed in his post-match news conference that the Czech international, with 224 clean sheets to his name in his Blues career, would be staying put until the end of the season at least. Cech's status as number two to Thibaut Courtois has led to Mark Schwarzer - statistically the man with the third-most clean sheets in Premier League history - becoming almost a forgotten man at Stamford Bridge. Schwarzer has been touted for a move to Leicester City, which was today confirmed by the Portuguese manager, who commended the Australian for his professionalism (though the club's official Twitter page managed to misspell the Australian's name...): With Schwarzer departing, Mourinho has confirmed that youngster Jamal Blackman's loan deal at Middlesbrough will be terminated, and that Blackman will come in to offer goalkeeping cover after just one appearance for the Teeside club - in their penalty shoot-out defeat to Liverpool in September.

How anyone can actually have any sort of opinion on this game is beyond me... Goals are on the BBC website for anyone living in the UK: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30614332
-
No match report because like 99.99% of the world's population I didn't see the game
-
Imagine if we got him as our second-choice striker. Remy would leave for sure (he will only be second-fiddle until Drogba goes) but we'd have two quality, quality forwards. He might be a unit but he is the most technically adept striker I've seen in the PL since Anelka.
-
Yep. Ironically he was on the December page for 2014.
-
Absolutely, he's probably wanking himself into oblivion with all this attention, so let's get back to Frank.
-
You raise an excellent point. I think if he won something of note with them - i.e. the PL, CL - it would send us fans overboard. If anything this has made me even more desperate to win a major honour this season. If we win silverware this season, even if it's "only" the League Cup, and they end up trophyless, I'd find it satisfying. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It's cute he continues to pop in here, he deserves to be with all the other fascist "you don't agree with me so you're a cunt" thinkers on the Shed End. He fits right in over there, what a shit, boring forum it is. No fun whatsoever, at least the drama makes this place interesting. I wonder if they actually have any debates over there, or if they just sit circle-jerking and agreeing with the majority viewpoint on any given matter. If you're reading this, "Blue Daze" you're more than welcome to go forth and multiply.
