Those who think we’ll struggle against low block this season I disagree. From the small sample the way Poch has us play in congested spaces with the one and two touch wall passing we will break down a lot of teams. I’m actually really excited for this season. Still think we need 3 more pieces - CM,CB and a GK. Coupled with less congested fixture list more time to be drilled in the new system the 2024/25 season could be our comeback year

Well the GK is easy but probably doesn’t fit the profile of the people in charge. I’d go after Sevilla shot stopper Bono. And for CB that’s a little trickier

Sign Caicedo, a CB with experience 25-28 years old and a GK in the range 28-31. I’d rock with what we have going into this season.

I love Santos one touch passing forward to spring our attacks man we missed something like that so many times last year. I feel like Jackson or Broja up top with nkunku in carneys roll could be deadly. Carney is a bit slow in seeing the pass maybe it’s just sharpness

Out of the 3 teams you posted there it’s a nightmare to deal with two of them. I just wish the board was sensible enough to look at players like this in the same price range as Caicedo. All of the above are much better footballers than him.

I feel we haven’t gone for Lavia because they believe Santos is better. So it really is getting Caicedo or nothing. I feel we need another CAM/#10 who can score and has the eye for a pass I feel if we brought one in we wouldn’t be as stressed about Caicedo

I’ve been saying for weeks now move on from him and Brighton. I don’t want to deal with them anymore as all they do is fleece us. Our new people in charge are so good at spotting talent why haven’t they moved on to another player. We do not need to be held for ransom their are other CDMs in world football that will improve our engine room.
