Haven't you been watching his pens for the last 3 years? He waits for the goalie to move, then picks a corner. He doesn't gamble. Of course it's an easy save if he decides wrong, he almost passes it. I don't necessarily like it, but he's been doing it succesfully for most of his career.

We all know his flaws, flaws that are magnified when he's not playing well. Doensn't change the fact he's one of the best strikers in the world on form.

The man has built enough credit to play a few bad games. Some of you seem to assume he's thinking about all that Chinese money while the more plausible explantation is a patch of bad form which can happen to anyone.
