He'll probably hinder Rashfords development which is a shame. Lukaku's confident because he's consistently near the top of the scoring charts which is (or should be) the primary rating factor for a striker. His allround play has actually improved substantially under Koeman, but everyone focusses on those "Lukaku hilarious first touch" videos on youtube instead of watching the player play. His frame makes him look lazy and a bit awkward sometimes, yet he's way more technical than he looks. Honostly you might be right and he may struggle with tighter defences, but he's never failed to deliver up until now (except a mediocre record for the international team which I blame on lackluster coaching/low quality staff and total lack of team cohesion). I wouldn't count on it

Didn't really want him here, because I don't like him as a charachter but he's definitely strengthening United, he'll bang them in like he always does. Downplaying his goal record is clutching at straws.

With all the talk about signing a striker people seem to forget about Michy, a striker who netted a goal every 47 min (skewed stat which he obviously couldnt sustain when he'd play more as a starter but still). I'm more worried about right wing tbh. A class winger opposite Hazard would mean so much more for this team.

Silva and Hazard can cope with more physicality because they are world class players, not Cuadrados and Salahs. Looks to me you're getting defensive because you can't stand criticism on your fellow Egyptian.

But it's not comparable to England. Look at Cuadrado who was worse than Moses in an attacking position for us. In Italy he excels because players are given way more space to attack. A midget like Mertens scoring 28 league goals would never happen in the PL either. No chance.
