  1. More to do with Iva not knowing where Son was. Oscar's cross for Eden's header was a lot more special, imo.
  2. Should be winning this...surprisingly. If Ramires was available instead of Cesc we'd probably be ahead by now. Regardless, continue with this performance and I'll be delighted regardless of the result.
  3. Crap. I thought this was 2 hours later than it actually is I hope I can get home in time...
  4. Why hasn't anyone yet made a compilation of his FK goals so far this season?!
  5. That's your opinion. It doesn't make the criticism any less valid. The criticism (which I don't fully agree with, but that's irrelevant) was not in any way provocative, it wasn't personal, it wasn't an attack on any one in particular. Your response to it, though, was clearly all of those things. Regardless of how right or wrong they are, you can't personally attack someone for voicing a criticism in a thread you (the staff) created for that very purpose. Explain your position on the matter if you find the need to, clarify what you think the poster has gotten wrong, or else just consider what they wrote and do not reply if you feel you can add nothing constructive to the debate. At worst just ignore the whole thing. But you can't get this defensive and start attacking people. You (again I mean all the staff) are in a position of responsibility and you should be able to handle all this. PS: Turmoil? It's an internet forum ffs! The most 'turmoil' that can happen is someone clicking that 'X' at the top right corner.. Of course the staff get uncalled for stick. That's part of the job description. If you're not up for that, then don't take up the post. I think that the vast majority on here appreciate the job that the staff do. That's irrelevant. But you can't have no public discussions on public decisions that affect the whole forum just because you say so. Of course there are things that are best are best discussed in PMs with staff, but you can't attack people who decide to bring it up in public.
  6. Jeez...If you don't want feedback then maybe close this thread?
  7. No thanks. Nike is considerably more expensive than Adidas and I can barely afford an Adidas kit once a year!
  8. Just like the first match in Manchester City are lucky to lose by just one. Juve pretty much dominate the match. City were well below average.
  9. The spin and speed of the dip on the ball is just perfection. The fact that he is able to come up with such quality so consistently is just phenomenal. Reminds me of a period of a few months in 2012 (or was it 13?) when every FK that Del Piero touched turned to gold.
  10. Lmao People (me included) keep wrongly trying to explain it and just keep making it worse for everyone
  11. Then again, we shouldn't be in the bottom half of the table at the end of November...
  12. I think we go through regardless on the combined volume of players' hair which is clearly greater than everyone else's due obviously to the Willian effect...
  13. That's correct. I think you mean if we draw in the last sentence. If we lose we're still getting knocked out as we'd have 10 points and both Porto and Kiev would have more.
  14. Likely that is indeed the case. But if Kiev win by 6 or more they go top on goal difference, or if Kiev fail to beat Tel Aviv Porto go top by head-to-head against us. EDIT: Actually it's goal difference in games between tied teams only. Forgot they changed that. Disregard the first part of that sentence. Second part still true.
  15. So basically we top the group if we avoid defeat against Porto in the final group stage match (unless Kiev win by 6 or more goals vs Tel Aviv). But if we lose we're out of the competition (unless Kiev fail to beat Tel Aviv). So basically the last match of the group stage is a knock-out match because, assuming that Kiev beat Tel Aviv, it's either us or Porto going through.
  16. Pitch was incredibly shit, opponents even more so, but 4-0 should do world of good for the confidence of our players.
  17. Whether or not what Le Saux said was right is irrelevant as is Jose's right to respond because Jose didn't reply to Le Saux's comments, he made a childish jibe at something completely irrelevant, completely ancient, completely pointless and even completely inaccurate as Le Saux was just one of 5 or 6 players who didn't travel back then. Quit clutching at straws. There can be no justification for what he said. Had he come out and responded to Le Saux's criticism then fair enough. But what he said was just childish and disrespectful.
  18. Yeah, the rest of the region says: "Thanks a lot. That's really helping the situation...."
  19. Exactly that! He's the manager of one of the biggest European clubs not a seven year old who always needs to get the last say. How insecure do you need to be to not even let something as small as that slip?! And it's bloody stupid as well, isn't it? I, and I'd bet most people, hadn't even heard/read what Le Saux had said until be decided to make this childish jibe back. Sigh...
  20. WHY did he have a swipe at Graeme? I mean wtf?! Sometimes I hear Jose or read something he's said and I can't help but think: "What a cunt..."
  21. My mom on Costa: "Who's that guy? He looks like an ISIS terrorist!"
  22. Didn't watch the game yesterday, but I think tactically we'll need someone like Remy who can run behind and make clever movement inside the box and take his chances.
  23. Make or break and not just for qualification. It's empirical that we put two back to back wins. Must not underestimate them, this has all the prospects to potentially becoming a very tricky game. Ideally we should score early and take the pressure off. Remy has to start ahead of Costa, for me. COYB!
