@, @Dion, did you know that there are something 3-4 times more Lebanese people in Brazil than there are in Lebanon?
-
Completely different. India cuisine uses lots of spices. Our cuisine is also based on herbs that are not native to India.
-
Yeah we make it with ground beef and pine and have a side of cooked rice like I said. The one above looks a bit under-cooked as well.
-
No I'm pretty sure that spinach. Anyway that's not how we make it Lebanon. That's probably from Palestine or Syria.
-
Well, that sounds healthy!
-
Countless. The Lebanese cuisine is huge. I personally love the stews which we usually make with cooked rice on the side. My favorit stews are spinach, cauliflower, and a herb that probably doesn't have a name in English but we pronounce it "Mlookhiyye". Are you kdding? Only moms know how to cook those stuff!
-
Yeah that's why I'd like to see us go for a CB in the summer market.
-
Actually the "famous" Lebanese foods are not the best ones. Plenty of other Lebanese foods that are not famous in other countries but are so much better.

Yeah that's the problem. Supporters don't want to care about wages and financial stuff, they just want the biggest most expensive names out there. But when we end up in EL because we can't afford to get good players anymore because we did not manage our money well before, then you'd care!

Dude, I just had a burger for lunch! I actually hate almost everything in that photo

Yes he completely fucked them, and this is not my own opinion, but the opinion of most Inter fans. It's extremely hard to rebuild when you're paying insane amounts of wages for players who can't play at the highest level. To put in perspective, if I remember correctly, last season Inter had the biggest wage bill in Europe and they were a Europa league mid-table team. If that's not fucked up, I don't know what is. My intention was not to compare directly our team to Inter's as it is obvious the same thing won't happen here, but I wanted to point out that it's not as simple as giving him power over everything. Jose might be a phenomenal manager, but what do you know about his negotiation, scouting, business..etc abilities?

I feel my arteries clogging just reading that!

Everyone in this thread knows that you can't resist taking the bait!

You could at least have given him a better answer than that! And evolution is hardly a conviction nowadays, it as solid a scientific theory as you'll find.

Funny you should ask that: http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/15697-best-centre-back-pairing Let continue the discussion there.

Always a pleasure reading your articles, mate First, let me start by saying that is extremely hard to compare and contrast our CB pairing this season because there has been countless other factors affecting our defending other than the two at the center of defense. We've gone this season from a high block to a low block to a current medium block (AVB says hi ), from using Bertrand and Ramires on the wings to having wingers who don't track back to trying to get those new wingers to start tracking back. And let's not forget the fiasco in the pivot this season. But overall, here what I think of our CB pairings: Cahill and Luiz are too error prone to be partnered together, imo. They also don't really suit each other as you eluded to above. The main problem for Cahill-Iva for me is their terrible distribution, especially if you compare it to JT's and Luiz's. The just can't get the ball out of the back well enough and end up giving it away dangerously when opponents press high. This was highlighted the most in the home game against Swansea in the Capital One Cup. They also lack an organizer of the defense. Cahill-Terry are too similar to play together, imo. You need your center-halves to compliment each other, and JT and Cahill certainly don't. Overall, I don't think Cahill should be a starter in any case. Luiz- Terry is, imo our best pairing. They compliment each other very well. This pairing also gives a huge offensive advantage because they are simply the best distributing CBs in the league. Terry may have lost a yard of pace, but whe it comes to defensive instinct, defending in the box, and organizing the defense as whole, he's still one of the best in the world. Luiz is a ball winning defender and he does that very well. He may be prone to some silly mistakes (that have admittedly decreased this season) but he is still our best defender by a country mile. His positioning, tackling, areal ability..etc are all top notch when he's focused. David Luiz is here to stay and he will be a starter at CB for some time to come, but with Terry's injuries and his ability to play at top level for long being a serious doubt, I honestly think we need to find a solution if not for next the season for the one after, be it going out and buying a CB, or giving one of our youngsters like Omerue a serious chance next season. Iva-Luiz is a very interesting one. But I will personally need to watch more of it to make up my mind.

I don't think it is as simple as that. Jose had almost complete control at Inter, and he completely f***ed them up before leaving. He gave the majority of the aging squad there, like Zanetti, Milito, Cambiasso, Stankovic...etc new long-term contracts on ridiculously high wages. Inter were left with a squad that on the fast decline while being unable to afford to replace any of the players.
-
Here's a question for everybody: If Jose is to return here, how much power would you give him? Obviously over the first team training and squad selection. But would you give him authority over the youth academy? Transfers? Medical staff? Player contracts?
-
Actually the post I quoted was saying that he would be a starter in most top European sides..

What is with everyone changing their names? Can't tell who is who anymore!

Completely disagree. Garry Cahill cannot be a starter even for a side challenging for the PL, especially if you're going to play a high line. And no, I don't think he'll start over Rio-Vidic, Kompany-Nastasic, Puyol-Pique (not because they are better as defenders but because they are better on the ball) or Boateng-Badstuber. And I personally don't want my defense to be like PSG or Milan. I've probably said this a hundred times before, but I'll say it again: Garry Cahill has the physical and technical attributes to be one of the best defenders in the world. He's got a lot of pace, great physical strength, good heading, excellent tackling...everything you'd look for in your world-class defender. His problem lies, however in his decision making. I've lost count of the amount of times we've conceded dangerous chances because Garry lost his man in the box, took a wrong position to defend, or stepped up too late; the latter especially. That's why he does amazing well in games when we have our backs against the wall, i.e. games when he doesn't have a lot of decisions to make, just a whole lot of tackling and heading and blocking shots. Think about it, his best games in a Chelsea shirt were probably against Barca at the bridge and against Arsenal this season when we had to defend a goal for a whole 45 mins. Don't get me wrong, we're lucky to have Garry as our third choice center back, but that's all he is, imo.

I'd agree but I just can't get my self to say that agree with Townsend on anything! -
Yeah, he's on 28 goals, if he gets 2 more he'll be joint 6th in the all time scorers for England. Wonder where Gerard is down that list...
-
Can't believe Frank is two goals behind Shearer in the all time scoring list. He's terrible for England, right?

The population of San Marino is less than 32K. You can literally fit the whole population at Stamford Bridge!
