I just hope that he is treated with the utmost respect when he leaves. The club and Frank have to come out a couple of month before and say that they agreed to part company at the end of the season. We have to give him testimonial match. Like term said, Frank will be remembered as our all time best player and history will remember how we treated him when he left.

I think you're right, sadly. We all knew this would happen at some point though..

The problems he causes in midfield are not spotted by many, but they are there and they are much much more than in defense. The thing is, most football fans judge players and their performances based on particular incidents and not general play. No one notices that a 90% passing accuracy is excellent defending because it keeps the ball with us and limits the opposition's chances. Same goes for positioning because people expect the players that are back to deal with it and very few wonder why the other players are not back. Like today when Cole was getting slated for not covering for a player, but no one noticed that Cole was up against 2 players because Hazard was not tracking back when we were playing 4-3-3. People applaud a player for making a 20 meter sprint and putting a tackle to win back the ball and don't notice that the reason he had to do that was because he was out of position while no one gives credit to a player for stopping a counter attack by being in position. Luiz is entertaining on the ball, but how many minutes does an average player gets on the ball each game? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? There are 80-85 minutes other than those that everyone seem to neglect.

How can they know that when he won't have scans until tomorrow?

So the 2 weeks turned into 6, so far. It's always fun to guess what 2 weeks mean with our medical staff.

As much as I share the sentiment, a lot of whether or not Frank will get a new deal has to do with him. Obviously no one knows what is going on in the negotiations, but unless Frank accepts a HUGE pay cut, then I have to admit that giving him a new deal doesn't make much sense because something like 150k/wk for a player who will most likely miss more than half the games is unrealistic in a business sense.

He had 2 late tackles. I honestly though he was off after the first one. He was late and no where near the ball and would have gotten a yellow if he were not already on a YC.

Yes, but we are talking about Luiz's mistakes. Regardless of everyone else's mitakes, if Luiz had been doing his job well, we would not have conceded. What does his display have to do with the YC? He was already on a yellow and made 2 unnecessary late tackles that could have seen him sent off. It was plain stupid and if I were the manager I would be telling him just that after the match because he could have cost us points.

4 were on target. The other 5 were a couple from Luiz, one from Oscar and one from Hazard that ended in row z.

Don't think so. He once again sloppy with his passes. His positioning was terrible as is evident with the goal and the osman shot that Cech saved. He kept being draw to the wing on the defense leaving Pinaar to wreck havoc in the middle. His defending was naive and too aggressive. At the end he should have been sent off; he made two challenges that would have gotten him a second yellow if Web was to be strict. His recklessness nearly let the team down.

What are you talking about? We had 8 shots blocked, those were never going to pose any danger.

Extremely lucky and undeserved but we'll take it any how. Most important 3 points of the season so far and who else to get them for us than super Frank! Take the 3 points, give frank the new contract, never play Luiz in midfield again, and roll on QPHAHAHA
