Best game for us in some time. More importantly, he never took it too far after the yellow card he received which is a welcomed change. On the flip side, if curses hurt, he would have been screaming in agony from the abuse I directed at him when decided to go down without contact instead of try to score into the empty net when Fabianski came out and Eden almost beat him to the ball.

We usually struggle in matches right after the international breaks. They've had 2 weeks to perfect their tactics and their players will be fresher than most of ours. Must not get complacent here. Expecting the geezer but not Alonso to start.
