Ivanovic was out of position and left Rami isolated and Cahill should have been first to the header. Moments before the goal their defense was in trouble as Hazard ran at them. We got into more dangerous positions at the start of the second half before they scored.

That's illogical. They needed a goal at 0-1 much more but only took control of the game after our defense practically gifted them the equalizer. Momentum can have a huge impact in football. Plus, psychologically, it made sense for our players to subconsciously settle for 1-1. PSG needed a second and had the momentum, belief, and fans support of just scoring.

Yes, they had plenty of chances after the 1-1, hence why I said the momentum completely shifted. Between our goal and the equalizer, PSG managed to create next to nothing ---> Relative control for us. We did not "park the bus" until after the equalizer and that is when PSG started created chances regularly. We even started the second half better than them till they scored.

The credit goes to Shakhtar. Why would Bayern want a 0-0 away? We got a much better result than them. We did score when PSG were playing for the counter and looked for preserving the draw after conceding. Would have been a different game had we not.

How many "well worked" moves did they have before the goal? They had 2 half-chances in the first half both of which came on the counter after silly mistakes in our mid, and a chance from poor marking on a corner (thought it was going out, anyway). Nothing "well worked" about them. We had relative control up until the equalizer.

For the people complaining, Bayern got a 0-0 and had only one shot on target against Shakhtar. The cheap goal we gave away completely changed the momentum of the match. Credit to PSG who played very well and Blanc who got his tactics spot on.

Just don't concede at the bridge. Easy enough, right?

Yes, experience is very important in football and can at times be invaluable.
