  1. Maybe Piazon could play on the left?
  2. Hazard is way more dangerous when he can infiltrate from the middle.
  3. Hazard getting a lot of shit from Chelsea TV co-host. :/ Don't know what he did more wrong than any other player...
  4. Don't know why everybody puts Oscar in their 'top' 11 already. He hasn't played a game for Chelsea so far...
  5. I also disagree that 'all hope is lost' with Lukaku. A loan might be the best option, but he needs 30 games or more at an EPL club to make huge valuable steps. Don't know which club is going to give him that. And then I think, if the situation might be the same at another EPL club, he can also stay at Chelsea (if they don't buy striker) to compete for second striker position with Sturridge. He is in fact very limited in certain areas, but I also feel that Lukaku would score more goals than Sturridge if given equal time up front. Just a feeling.
  6. Torres wasn't fit for more than 30 minutes. Can't risk injuring your best striker two weeks before money time.
  7. Lukaku was bad indeed, but so was Torres. But yes, Torres is ofcourse a much better striker than Lukaku. If you do want to maximize potential though this year, you need to go with Torres, Sturridge and Lukaku. Torres won't feel threatened and the other two would get a decent amount of minutes to develop. I don't think buying a new (top) striker is the solution. It might hurt the club more in long term. Buying Oscar might have been a solution, because the delivery (so far) simply hasn't been up to scratch.
  8. I'm Belgian, so my opinion doesn't matter it seems, but Hazard had a good game.
  9. RDM said Torres will get at least 30 minutes. I get from that that he won't get more than 45.
  10. How can you put Oscar in that list, he haven't even played for the club yet. :/
  11. What positions can he play? Midfield is getting a bit crowded, with Hazard, KDB, Marin, Mata, Malouda, Bennayoun and (sometimes) Sturridge. Have a feeling this means no incoming striker any time soon. With these types of players you can easily play with a false 9.
  12. Would rather see him play in the Premier League. Maybe put him in the same team as Lukaku.
  13. Looking forward to see what he can do against the bigger teams. Again, he's only 19. Drogba came to Chelsea when he was 26 (I think?), so he has about 7 years to get to that level.
  14. Good to see Lukaku scoring. As a striker that's his only job. Torres played lots of good games last season, but didn't score. Lukaku might play shite for 90 minutes, but if he scores two he still outperformed Torres.
  15. The Belgium boys look good eh? (no homo)
  16. Looking at the video on Chelsea FC's official website (pre season day 5 video), I really don't understand what Hazard is doing in that excercise. High-balls being sent, always over his head. He should be the one crossing!
  17. But Sturridge is played on the right wing?
  18. If no other striker is bought, keep him. If you buy another striker, loan him out. If he's the second in line (Torres being first), he'll get a decent amount of minutes minutes I reckon.
  19. Like I said before, he already announced the #17 weeks ago. Now it's 100% sure.
  20. And his first training goal, so it seems.
  21. Kevin De Bruyne just gave an interview to Belgian press saying he did train already individually with Marin today. All the other players (injury, Euro excluded) will join tomorrow. Says he will be loaned out probably, except if he plays a really good pre-season. Doesn't mind to get loaned out though, he added.
  22. Good to see he mentioned Lukaku when talking about Drogba's replacement. Maybe he'll get a real shot this time. If he can prove him self before mid August, he might stay. Otherwise a loan is also good.
  23. Maybe today is the day the new signings get a tour around the Bridge and get to talk with RDM? Both De Buryne and Hazard said they had to report for duty July 4th. Maybe it changed, I don't know.
  24. Lukaku would never agree with Vitesse. It's like going back to Belgium, which he said he'd never do at this moment. Vitesse is no step up compared to Anderlecht, so if Anderlecht is out of the question, so is Vitesse (and probably Copenhagen).
