Only Silly Chelsea fans called him the next Messi. The two are totally different in terms of style and position they play. Arda Turan is two years younger to Messi and captain of Turkish Giants Galatasaray and has played at the highest level. The reason he is compared to Messi by the media is because his is fast pacy dribbler who plays on wings and cuts in just like Messi. He is a Liverpool fan though.

Hence the club negotiating to come up with a transfer fee. That's precicely how all transfers happen. The buying club bargains and the selling club tries to milk the buying club. The transfer window hasn't even started still 2 and half months to bargain with Santos. It's the question of will they budge into lowering their selling price

Not at all. Didnt Aguero have a buyout clause of 62m two years ago? Doesn't mean we have to pay that. The club is trying to negotiate a transfer fee based on player potential like they do with any other player. Chelsea is taking the right approach here. We are asking them to negotiate with us.

I think we all should go into Hibernation for the next one week cus absolutely nothing will happen during that timeframe as Santos is playing Copa Liberadores with first leg tmrw and second leg next wednesday. Once thats done, we can all come out of our hibernation and go bonkers all over again.

So just because he is a "Legend "he shouldnt be sold?....his knees are gone, two operations in two seasons during which he missed more than half the seasons, not to mention he missed 2 months again this past season. 3 seasons and im still waiting to see Essien of 06-07 and 07-08. Plus we now have Ramirez who is a much fitter and much younger and equally talented. We need creativity and id have Sneijder over Essien. I would do an Essien + 5million cash for Sneijder.
