  1. Well..looking at how the club has operated in last 10 months. I wont be surprised if Jose is "SENSATIONALLY" called back to coach Chelsea. As I beleive all top clubs have managers now. Even mancini has been asked to continue after winning the League. So that leaves only Chelsea without a manager and Jose without a club.
  2. you R A FUCKING LEGEND!!!....AND I AM SURE YOU AS THE Chelsea CAPTAIN WILL DEFINATELY LAY YOUR HANDS ON IT IN ROME!!!!
  3. http://youtube.com/watch?v=B2XwAqLHiVE&feature=related guess who is this
  4. How about Dick Advocaat?...dark horse? very experienced manager. Too Old though. No expeience of managing big clubs but has done well with small clubs. Helped Zenit an unknown team win the UEFA Cup.
  5. Did you seriously think, Mourinho would win us the League title the first year? I dont want to see Rijkaard year. Hes success was based on Ronaldinho reaching his peak. Once ronaldinho lost his peak, Barca went trophyless. Mancini, to me is pretty much similar to Joe Mourinho. He plays defensive football and his UCL record with Inter is simlar to Jose's at Chelsea.
  6. Back then we had cut down our defense since John Iron Man Terry had not suffered a single injury for over two years. Basically there are going to cut down on midfield. SWP, Sidwell, Ben Haim and Pizzaro the striker.
  7. Get Michael Laudrup.!!!....end off the matter.!!
  8. Come to see of it, if you leave out the Man Utd game since he wasappointed just 2 daysbfore the game,he has suffered only 1 loss and that is to arsenal. Unlucky in the Finals. Carling Cup: Cech punchs the ball away and the ball goes in the net rebounding off woodgate's head. UCL: Drogba gets sent off for slapping. Anelka says he doesnt want to take the 5th kick.(not a team player)...finally terry takes it, he slips. Very unclucky i would say. BTW, does anybody know whether he is still the director of football, or has he left CFC completely?
  9. atm ribery is a bigger star than robinho --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I dont think so. Anways, I would rather like Ribery to join us and not Robinho. Several reasons: 1) Ribery is more Direct and likes to take on the full backs So does robinho --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- May be, but Ribery seems a much more complete and a responsible player than robinho. 2)He is versatile. He can play the attacking midfield role(play maker) as well as play on either wings. So does robinho --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- May be, but I stand by my second poiint 3) He takes free kicks. And hence i feel he is better at crossing the ball compared to Robinho. we already have fights for free kicks why add more to misery.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We dont have good corner kick takers. Plus Ribery takes penalties. He is cool headed. Just by watching him, you know he will give it all for the team. Ribery is a future captain material for France. 4) He has played in France, Turkey and Germany and has proved himself in all the leagues unlike Robinho who has only played in spain and brazil. I would rather take a man who has proved himself in different leagues.mind you those two league combined are better than the three ribery played in.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- May be Spain but not Brazil. In Europe he is a "one league pony"...just like Sheva and ballack and malouda. And knowing our history in investing huge amounts in such players..I wold restrain myself from buying Robinho for that sum. 5) Would love to see him on left and Joe Cole on right running riot. and why wouldnt you love robinho running riot on left? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Again, cus Ribery is a more complete player for me compared to Robinho. 6) He is the next Zidane for France, and you would want to snatch him before he reaches his peak. you could say robinho is the next pele for brasil --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, the media and French fotball fans have tipped him to become the next Zidance not me.
  10. Avram is a Good Manager. But there is an oceans gap in being good and GREAT!!...We need a Great manager. I feel sad for Avram. - Replaced a manager who was fan's favourite. - Got a lot of stick from all the corners. - Got sacked. I mean, that guy dint even get to choose his players in the summer. He takes up a team already chosen, with the former manager giving a bad start to the club with 11 points in 6 games. And still almost does it for us. It is like a Relay Race. The 4th athelete need to make up for the bad start given by the first three atheletes. And he almost won us the league race. He managed us for 32 matches in the league that is 96 points of which he got us 74 points. Add to that the match at OT which was his first match in 2 days after taking the job and the fulham game where we still were recuperating from the Jose's sacking saga. I hope he takes up a job at some mid table team and shows his worth. Good Luck AG!!
  11. I am NOT sure if i am happy with this news of Robinho coming to Chelsea. Every time we see us sign the big stars, they flop, and then we try to console ourselves by saying, it is his first season. Anways, I would rather like Ribery to join us and not Robinho. Several reasons: 1) Ribery is more Direct and likes to take on the full backs 2)He is versatile. He can play the attacking midfield role(play maker) as well as play on either wings. 3) He takes free kicks. And hence i feel he is better at crossing the ball compared to Robinho. 4) He has played in France, Turkey and Germany and has proved himself in all the leagues unlike Robinho who has only played in spain and brazil. I would rather take a man who has proved himself in different leagues. 5) Would love to see him on left and Joe Cole on right running riot. 6) He is the next Zidane for France, and you would want to snatch him before he reaches his peak.
  12. Well, Anelka slowly coming into his own. Should have got Sheva instead. He would have definately taken the 5th penalty.
  13. He could be the playmaker for us. As he does seem to play in the "HOLE". But the only problem with him being the playmaker is, he looks a bit too weak for the EPL. I am not sure if he would be able to manage to tackle good DMs and Centre Halves considering how physical they can get in the EPL
  14. Anelka has said he dint want to take it.
  15. I think Bridge wants to leave. I am not sure. Makalele should be sold now and Mikel should be given more chances. GK: Cech, Cudicini, Hilario Centr Half: Terry, Carvalho, Alex, Ivanovic RB: Boswinga, Ivanovic, Ferriera LB: Ferriera( plays for Portugal as LB..his natural position), Ashley Cole. Midfield: Lamps, Ballack, Essien, Mikel, ONE PLAYMAKER(kaka, diego, vandervaart) Wingers: Joe Cole, Kalou, Scott Sinclar, Dos Santos, Malouda Strikers: Anelka, Sheva, Di Santo, ONE HIGH PROFILE STRIKER!!!....We also have Kalou. So, Basically we need one midfielder (a playmaker), one Striker, one Winger(Robinho or Dos Santos or Ribery) We have basically played with the same 11 for the most part of last 2 seasons. Its time to splash some cash and get some real quality players.
  16. Ben Haim will definately get 5 million, simply because a mid table team wouldbuy him not to bench him but to play in the starting line up. Belleti, was bought for 5 million not 1 million. And he has not done bad to be honest. He was benched at Barca throughout the season and we bought him for 5. He will definately go for more than 5 million. Makalele for 10 million, hmm may be a bit too much. Drogba, definately 19 million. SWP will definetly fetch you more than 10 million simply because he will start the match when he plays for mid table teams and that gives us an incentive to sell him at a higher price. Did you seriously think Robben would go for 24 million?
  17. It doesnt take any manager to control him. All it takes is a bit of ridicule and insults that actually spurs him to give his best. Kinda, Negative Psychology as they say. It took him 2 years to reach his best. For two years under JM he dived all over, play acted on the field. But when we bought Sheva, he knew his place was in danger, Plus veryone saying, Drogba will be the second striker and Sheva will be the first choice, spurred him up like any fucking thing. Right from the first day of the season, he was a monster on the field scoring some unbelievable goals. All thanks to the -ve psychulogy that his was subjected to. Again, at the start of the season 07-08, he knows that he is the best striker in the world by miles. What does he do..? takes it easy. HArdly any goals untill he gets ridiculed by all quarters for saying he wants to leave the club for sacking Jose. Everyone questiond his integrity. What happens? he starts scoring goals. Then, the UCL. Drogba has had a quiet month of April by his standards. Rafa makes a mistake of ridiculing Drogba in the media. What happens? He slams those words down Rafa's throat by scoring 2 fantastic goals. The problem with Drogba is, He takes it a bit too easy when people praise him and call him the best. Thats when he becomes the old Drogba. He only shows his potential when he gets ridiculed and his game is questioned by people.
  18. IT takes a lot of HARD WORK and time to gain respect and takes a moment to lose it all. Drogba, had all the respect from fans even when he started throwing his tantrums in the media. Many of us wanted him to stay, they cheered him, chanted his name and did everything [possible to show their love to him. Still he kept on whining, and crying and started his theatrics on the field. He threatened us throughout the season, whined and cried, and then what does he do, gets himself sent off. It wasnt a tackle that sent him off, He slapped him when we had 4 minutes left for penalties. We have beared alot from him throughout the season, and that act from him just summed his season up. He has let us all down. He can very well fuck off. Oh yeah, apart from that shot on the post, he was barely in the game.
  19. I love doing this. Its like playing a jackpot without putting money on line. Outs: Ben Haim(5milliion), Sidwell(4 million) (although i think he will be loaned), pizzaro(6 million), Drogba(19million), SWP(14 million), Belleti(6 million)(he wasnt bad actually), Sheva (10 million), Makalele (10 million) Ins: Boswinga(16 million), Dos Santos(17 million), Huntelaar(17 million), Di santo(2 million). Anelka(13million), ivanovic(9 million) Sold: 74 million Bought: 74 million. P.S: Subject to change based on my whims.
  20. Lampard has played half season. almost 40 matches and has scored 21 goals. Had he played the whole season, he would have had 30 goals this season. Offload Drogba and Sheva(I hate to do this)...and keep lampard. But I Love Sheva. The guy gives 100% whenever he is on field and keeps his mouth shut, unlike Drogba who days are numbered. I hope he flops at his next club.
  21. NO RIJKARD!!! NO RIJKAARD! Get Michael Laudrup or Mancini. Would be fantastic.!!!
  22. Ha Ha...just like Dan Cross as mentioned in that article, I walked out of the pub totally devastated and then realized i dint pay my tab. I forgot my goggles in the pub. I couldnt think of anything but JT's miss. I had to go back in the pub and pay my tab and see the man utd fans jumping around me. I still forgot to pick my gogs though.
