To be just 21 and stand out in a midfield that boasts of Deco, Ballack Lampard Essien, is something. The lad is special. I still remeber his deft pass to lampard which resulted in Drogba scoring the Extra Time Winner against man Utd in Finals of the FA Cup. Awsome Talent...could be a great player if he keeps his head in place. As Jim Mentioned. Everything about him reminds me of Patrcik Viera.

Lampard is in Scintillating form this season. Already has 6 of 11 games so far (missed 2 sitters..would have been 8 if not). Last season the lad scored 21 goals(including the UCL penalty kick) in 40 games and wasnt even at his best. This season I feel he has it in him to pump in 30 goals......Can he do it...? sounds wierd for a Central midfielder but he just sweeeeeeeet atm.

I think he is a bit concerned about getting injured. And he certainlly lacks a yard in pace. But definately bettr than last season. He is pretty good this season. I hope he keeps improving. Its ok to have one bad game in 5 matches.
