Who Do You Want To Be The Next Manager?
warnie_666 replied to EskWeston's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
well i know signing Rafa would be a joke, but he can win us the champions league and get us a 4th place finfish in the league. -
JM has said that he is planning a raid on Bridge. He has mentioned that most of the players there want to work with him again. Of all the players I can only see Drogba moving to Inter and probably Ferriera. Lampard stays and for some reason if he wants to quit Chelsea, he will goto Barca. Rest will stay, and the underperforming ones will go to the mid table clubs.

I dont know if I am too keen on Hughes. OK....He is a good coach. But no xperience of managing a team in Champions league. I cant see how Hughes will help us win the Champions league. Mancini for me is a better option or even Rijkaard. -
who would be the perfect replacement of drogba ?

Gomis' goals are very Drogba'esq. I wont mind at all if Kenyon signs him for us. -
who would be the perfect replacement of drogba ?

One reason, why Drogba is considered the best is because 1) Ball Control..Excellent. 2) Strength and Pace. 3) Great in the air, Good at Free Kicks, Good at Penalties. 4) Class Finisher. Gomis is like drogba, but I am not sure how good he is at free kciks and penalties and ball control. -
I dont know about the "bollocking" thingy, but Grant has slammed the Chelsea board. It is on skysports.

Ok....Now someone please explain to me why on earth is Scolari the front runner. No doubt that man has managed for many years, but h has managed a host of Arab and South American clubs. HE HAS ZERO experience of managing a European club. His only achievement is to help a star studded bookies' favourite brazilian team win the World Cup against a German team minus Ballack. He took portuguese to the Finals but failed to beat GREECE!!!...and does he speak english? I dont think so. I am not amused by this news. I dont want Scolari. I want someone who has an expirience of managing a European club. -

I would anytime prefer laudrup to hughes. why? Simply because, There is an oceans gap between the quality of Getafe and Blackburn. Getafe if im not mistaken was just promoted(correct me im wrong) and to take a club like that within a whisker of a semi final of UEFA cup is a far greater achievement. And yes, they do play attacking football. Huges Doesnt have much to show on his CV. and does laudrup? atleast hughes has manged in EPL for 4 years Ans. Atleast laudrup plays entertaining football and not defensive. again refer to my first point. Hughes Doesnt play attractive football. getafe scored 44 goals in la liga all season Ans. Laudrup had argument with the owners who dint provide him with the players he needed. Still he managed to take them to the QF. Blackburn for all the quality that they have have scored 50 and conceded 48 same as Getafe. -

So, Sparky is the Fan's favourite!! I dont know why. I wouldnt want a coach just because he was an ex Chelsea player. I would anytime prefer laudrup to hughes. Huges Doesnt have much to show on his CV. Hughes Doesnt play attractive football. And Roman wants both. He wants a winner. and thats why rijkaard is not even in the reckoning. -

Mancini Sacked. Jose to Inter Milan. And his task is to help them win the UCL next season. -
Firstly, Had I been in Grant's position losing the title by a whisker, I would surely have blamed the poor start given to us by our previous manager. I see ntn wrong in it.

Who is better? Sinclair or Stoch? and why?

That guy Gomis, really gives you an impression of Drogba. Well Benitez can shove Torres up his arse. He isnt worth 50 million Not sure how Huntelaar will pair well with Anelka. Drogba and Anelka would have been a Killer of a pair. -
There is nothing he hasnt won as a player. But as a manager apart from making a pretty top Juve Side(nedved, Del Piero, Buffon to name a few) Seria B champions, he hasnt achieved much. Yes he beat us in the semi finals, that was a fantastic achievement. But I am not sure what else he has on his CV to become a good contender for the post.

Blue Lion. Its NOT luck. Its Instinct, Reflxes, concentration on the foot of the kick taker and a bit of luck. Buffon, is the BEST when it comes to Penalties. !!! He is the complete goalkeeper according to me if only cech who is only 26(still has 12-13 yrs on him) can improve his glove work at penalties, he can be the best with Buffon, Yashin, Kahn, and other Greats.

My trully appologizes to John Terry and all of you.

Never Look back. Look to the future. Future is bright, Chelsea gonna come back with a bang and its gonna be the Quadraple season. We r in for something big, and we all need to be together to enjoy the moment  -
This is just the beginning. I think we will see more of his shit in the coming season.

Given the opportunity in Moscow last week, Nicolas Anelka did not want to be a striker. Oh yes, he says he wanted to be a striker. Indeed, he gave wanting to be a striker as his reason for hiding when his club were looking for a finisher capable of bringing the European Cup to Stamford Bridge. “I was asked to take one of the first five kicks and I said, ‘That is out of the question,’ ” Anelka explained. “I said, ‘I have come on as a right back and now you want me to take a penalty.’ At no point did I think I was going to come on. I was on the bench for 100 minutes and suddenly I am asked to play not even a minute after being sent to warm up.” Sadly for the self-serving Anelka, Uefa keeps a pretty good note of player comings and goings. He was introduced in the 99th minute, the first half of extra time, in place of Joe Cole, after which Lubos Michel, the referee, played two minutes and two seconds of additional time. There then followed a 15-minute second-half period and four minutes and 43 seconds of added time, so in total Anelka had 27 minutes and 45 seconds on the pitch before the penalty shoot-out, quite enough to get warmed up. His right-back analogy is also baseless considering that Chelsea’s reserve in that position, Juliano Belletti, buried his penalty, despite being introduced at the last opportunity in second-half injury time and without previously touching the ball. A left back, Ashley Cole, scored, too, as did Owen Hargreaves, of Manchester United, who has occasionally been deployed in the full-back role. Anelka would have us believe that a striker forgets every instinct unless reminded daily.

NO!! I told you yesterday, Barca have appointed Josep Guardiola
-
Jose has ruled himself out of AC Milan, Inter, Madrid, Chelsea. He will definately not say Oh yeah, I am interested, give me an offer. It all depends on how Roman manages to convince him. But again, whouever bets on Jose coming to Chelsea will become a millionaire if it turns out true. I would say Rijkaard is a front runner, simply because he already has his assistant coach Ten Cate out here. And both of them had struck a good chord at Barca.
-
Barca have appointed : Josep Guardiola Inter Milan president has mentioned that there were misunderstandings after the liverpool game but now that they have won the league they are happy with Mancini. AC Milan: The president is happy with Ancelloti. And has already mentioned that he wishes to see Sheva in Ancelloti's list of summer buys.
