1. Lampard and Drogba can take their Arses out of CFC. But someone like Carvalho is a HUGE LOSS!!!...So is Sheva just for the kinda Human Being he has been. I am soo happy Riccy is staying and as far as Sheva is concerned, the guy hasnt uttered a word inspite of being maligned and insulted and ridiculed in the press and by fans across. Something for Drogba to learn from. Scolari said that last season Sheva scored 8 from 12 starts and he was actually unfortunate to get injured while he was playing his best football at CFC.
2. OOOOOOOOOO......The Entire World has its sights on Chelsea Football Club's Top Striker and are waiting with great anxeity on his decision.
3. Quaresma....he is still loooking out for a club. Either Inter or Chelsea.
4. The Problem with Frank is, He knows that with his stamina levels he can play at the highest level till hes 35-36. He doesnt want to face a situation where Chelsea offload him at age of 34. At that age the only clubs you get are the mid table or the bottam clubs. And Frank wants to end his career at Chelsea IF NOT take an opportunity now itself of joining a big club. Hence the entire issue. Id say Offload him ( WHICH I THINK HE WIL BE BY AUGUST) And save your 16 million on someone who is willing to play for the Club.
5. Do you remeber the UCL Semi Final First LEg at Anfield? Hpw pathetic Drogs was, and how many times he went to the floor? How many stoppages we had cus of that? and the Extra time we got cus of that? and the Goal Kalou Scored cus of that/? If it hadnt been for Drogbas diving, there wouldnt have been that many stoppages, there wudnt have been that long an extra time and there wouldnt have been time for Kalou to cross it in for that Wonder Goal whcih got us a Crucial Away Goal. All HAIL THE SNOOP DROG!!!
6. Wingers: Joe Cole, Robinho, Scott Sinclair and Kalou will do for me.
7. Look, I dont have have a prob with his Diving as long as he keeps pumping in Goals like he did Last year. But I HATE THE WAY HE THINKS OF HIMSELF. HE considers himself bigger than the club.
8. Look....In a way I do agree with Cascarino. Lampard has been consistently been scoring 20 goals in last four yrs, been Player of the year runner up to Ronaldinho before that, And Chelsea probably dint offer him a deal as good as Terry or Ballack and Sheva inspite of all that. And NOW when Things have gotten out of hand, Chelsea have made a lucrative offer in a desperate attempt to keep him. But Again, one wonders if its the Money thats an issue or is it the Love for Jose? I beleive its the Latter.
9. If Inter are SO DESPERATE...I would say Qoute a price of 10million and above and not a penny less than 10 million. IF Lampard goes to Inter, His Footballing Career is Over at the top level.!! We will probably see him back in 2 yrs playing for clubs like NewCastle or Aston Villa or ManCity......
10. They wouldnt offer him a 5 year contract as hes a newbie to the club and 30 yrs old, I doubt they would even offer him a four year contract. And 140000 per week at Inter? Forget it!!...Even Henry isnt getting that at Barca.
11. Well..The whole thing is JUST PISSING ME OFF!!!. I dont know what Lampard wants.? Some say He rejected a contract of 140000 per week for 2 yrs ,some say it was a 4 yr offer but Lampard wants 5 years. The only thing I can get from this is that Lampard has made his mind to join Jose Mourinho and he lacks the balls to say that and keeps coming up with Contract issues as reasons for wanting to move on. I say this because it is certainly NOT an issue of Money as I dont think Inter will pay him 140000 pounds per week for 4 years as he is already 30. Its the love for Jose thats attracting him. All I know is that if he goes to Inter, He will be a Flop there. Thierry Henry, Shevchecko, any bells ring?
12. Former Chelsea player Tony Cascarino told Sky Sports News that unsettled Frank Lampard has been "let down" by the Stamford Bridge outfit. Relations remain strained since Lampard, who has repeatedly demanded a new five-year contract, refused Chelsea's offer of a four-year deal worth £130,000 a week. And the midfielder was reportedly angered that new boss Luiz Felipe Scolari told a press conference that Lampard intended to stay at the club for "many years" - comments that were swiftly disputed by his agent. The Blues have already rejected an £8m offer from Inter Milan for the player, while chief executive Peter Kenyon is optimistic the 30-year-old will honour the remainder of his contract, but Cascarino believes the contract wrangling could have been avoided. "This should have been resolved a year ago," Cascarino told Sky Sports News. "Frank Lampard had two years left on his contract when every big club in the world spoke about not letting players enter the final two years of their contracts. "I don't think Chelsea have made a big enough effort for Frank Lampard. "I think he felt he deserved parity with likes of Terry, Shevchenko and Ballack - he's a goalscoring machine and he's come up with so many big goals over the last few years. "I think he feels let down by Chelsea Football Club, I really do."
Vital
Cascarino believes Chelsea must act quickly to tie up one of their star men, or risk the balance of power turning against them in Europe. "Chelsea don't want to let a player like Lampard go - imagine if he goes to Inter and becomes a great player and scores vital goals - he could conceivably knock them out of the Champions League at some stage. "The big clubs are obviously wary about letting players go to each other in case they make a big impact. If you're letting a player have his way or giving the advantage to another club, fans think you're not making a big enough effort to win the trophies. You can't be seen to be losing to one of the major clubs in Europe. But the former Chelsea man, who turned out for the Blues from 1992-94, admitted the Lampard saga could be academic if the West London club fail to hold onto another of their talisman - Didier Drogba, a target of AC Milan. "Lampard is the type of midfielder who loves to get into position where big centre forwards knock things down and he can take a gamble," a frank Cascarino added. "If you lose Drogba, you have to lose Lampard for me because they are so important - between them they have been the goal machines for Chelsea. "I was the manager, I'd want to keep them both but if I can't keep one, I can't really see the importance of the second one." Sky Sports.
13. I think he has, as Scolari has said that he would want to give the youth some chance.
14. LEt me ell you Toress at his best last year had a goal:match ratio of 1:2 same as Drogba who scored 16 goals in 31 matches inspite of having a one month injury spell and AFNC. And like most im sure you'll agree that Drogba wasnt even at his best. True, Drogba plays best in a 4-4-2 formation, but last year he did well in a 4-3-3 formation. Honestly, I havent seen a Striker owning defenses like Drogba has. I hope he gets his bearings right this season and pump in another 30 goals.
15. Agreed. I am not defending him or anything NOW WAYS!!!!. I hate hm myself. But What I wanted to point out was, He still gave us a good Goal:Match ratio inspite of all the whining. YEs, he would have pumped in few more had he given his all for the team.
16. I remeber them posting a story saying Roman gives a 250 million pounds(not even euros or dollars) transfer booty to Scolari. WTF....you could buy Newcastle United with that money.
17. Buffon for Juve Cassilas for Real Madrid Canizares for Valencia Kahn for Bayern Munchen David Semen for Arsenal(I hate him)
18. To ssay he is better than Alex, is fine but to say that he is better than Carvalho who is according to many the BEST CB of CFC ( ie. better than terry), is utter foolishness.
19. I would have preferred Drogba saying that. One more thing. We all point out to Drogba 2 seasons back when he scored 30 goals in 50 odd matches. I would like to point out that he scored 16 goals in 31 matches for us last season. Still pretty good considering the AFNC and injurues he had. Lampard scored 21 in 42 matches.
20. I remeber Jose saying Torres is too slow for Premier LEague. But yes...on this occasion, I am with him. I hope he doesnt turn out like Baros, Proborsky, etc
21. Its goal.com according to goal.com....Roman gave Big phil a sum of 250 million pounds to spend on transfers.
