When we talk about Tap ins the first name and the only name that comes to my mind is Ruud Van Nistelrooy. I havent once seen him score a goal that woulld put a hole in the back of the net. Striker is all about being at the right place at the right time. But I do agree with Elliot, he doesnt have the same "fear striking" ability as Drogba. Anelka has been virtually zero against Liverpool and Manchester United. He missed a sitter against the mancs. Drogba would have owned the defenses of Liverpool, Anelka is far from doing anything like that. But he toys around with ordinary teams..... I would still be tempted to put Drogba in agaisnt the top 5-6 teams.

I hope we dont let go of him. Keep him no matter what. He is just 21 and he has shone in a Midfield full of big names.

Why would he change a formation that has given the team 28 goals and has created innumerable chances.? He will stick to the formation. May be Throw in Drogba for the Champions League Games and Anelka for the BPL games. The midfield is fucking imperious, although i would still like to see them performing the same against top teams which untill now we havent. But yes, being a striker is not all about scoring goals. Introduction of Drogba can shake up defenses and can have them panicking, which isnt the case with Anelka. With Drogba playing you will have 2 defenders hovering around him which will create more spaces for others in the team. Unfortunately thats not he case with Anelka.

We need someone for this season post January, when things get hectic from February with Carling Cup FA Cup fixtures. And we need a winger more than a striker. But if we are looking at next season, Robinho for sure is destined to join us. No Fucking doubt about it. Manchester City will struggle to get a UEFA cup place and Robinho wouldnt want to be playing for them next season. The only issue would be to see how greedy Manc City get. Plus Schwinstieger is very much similar to Malouda, but is very fast on the flanks unlike the latter. So if we can sell malouda and get Bastian(thats easier) I would luv it.

and i just found out..the record is 25 clean sheets not 24. And in the league so far he has 77 clean sheets in 123 premier league games. Fucking brilliant. That record of James will be smashed if Cech stays here for 5 more years.

Anelka has 9 goals in the season so far. 8 in premier league joint top scorer. And we still complain he isnt a good enough striker. The problem with him is, he will turn off against big teams but against lower league teams he will be at his scoring best.

Seeing Anelka today, it looks like he will not reach his peak at Chelsea. He is not the Target Man, he flourished in a 4-4-2 formation with a second striker. You cold see him struggle against Man Utd and Liverpool to win balls, or even hold balls. He just couldnt do it all alone. In Contrast, Franco Di Santo, was far far better than him. He won the balls, created couple of chances,. Whats more noticable is the fact that he did it against a quality defense. I feel Di Santo needs to start instead of Anelka. Anelka is good for a 4-4-2 formation but not a 4-5-1
