  1. although they probably love the club, bench any of those veterans and see if they don't throw a fit similar to lampard vs AVB. Most players righrly care about those things u listed. Cause the club certainly doesn't love them enough to keep them regardless of performance.
  2. we have too much attacking players to only put 2 on the field at a time. Especially when our #9 isn't a goal scorer on a decent bases.
  3. We didn't concede, RDM must be satisfied.
  4. I think qpr have strikers on the field. That's our Que to play with 8 defenders.
  5. Danny is place of Mata would be great since that's his favorite position anyways. Oscar is too fresh to play against qpr away.
  6. what would that be? Cause u can't wish for more wishes. That would just be fantasy talk.
  7. true. But if I had 5 wishes,I know what 2 of em will be.
  8. This is the type of game you don't play Oscar and the new signings except maybe Mose. Mental strength is something we need so guys like Lampard/ Ramirez need to play.
  9. the only unfair part is the kids not being paid. Everything else seems natural to me. The only sport I follow where the big guys don't always win is the NFL, where the revenue is split remarkable well. College sports have divisions also where revenue is split but I'm not sure how that works. Creating a balance in sports is not something that's an issue in college, the national championship is something only about 15 schools care about. All the other schools just wanna make it into a bowl game. If the UEFA wanted to be more balance - although its pretty good the way it is - a salary cap and a college system would be the way to go. However. I'm not suggesting UEFA change its way of developing youth because its not broken right now. But FIFA fair play seems unfair to my understanding and the only way to keep things balanced is through a draft system. unfortunately establishing something like this would cost billions and would mean Chelsea developed Cobham for nothing!
  10. It will. if the players were to get paid it would have to come from the NCAA and not the schools.the big schools can afford to pay the players but not the small schools. I would also have to be a flat rate because that would destroy the recruiting process. getting back on topic, Its not like the kids have no other choice, they know what they sign up for. they can chose to join a lower league and get paid if they want but, like unpaid interns, know they are making a sacrifice for their long term futures.
  11. The system is not completely skewed just because they don't pay the players. There are talks in some divisions to start paying these players eventually. The main hurtle is the concept of paying students but that will eventually disappear and the players will get paid. but look at it from this perspective; each school has over 100 football players. Of that 100 only about 40 play more than 3 plays a game. so over 60 players get a free ride throw college (around $20,000). paying college kids is fair but it might ruin the atmosphere of college football/basketball. The arrogance might go over the roof, the players would become paid professionals rather than student athletes. maybe the the athletes can get paid after graduation.
  12. Ohio state university has 104,000 fans at its game today. And the opponent isn't even a BIG school.
  13. Doubt he'll start. We need 7 defenders on the field at all times.
  14. from what people have been saying on here, they both have similar effects. I'm sure if one of our youth guys had a 1.0 GPA that wouldn't stop us from playing him.
  15. or maybe because he was Asian, a HARVARD graduate, and played in the biggest basketball market in the country
  16. no they don't. The celebrations are supposed to be fun and if a football player says anything negative about the other team, its news for the entire week. Even If they were, It's not cause of the college sporting system.
  17. I assume the US isn't that good cause all the good athletes chose to play different sports early on in life.
  18. Always wondered why this seems nonexistent in Europe. Here in USA college sports earn more ( I think) than the pros! That's like saying Chelsea B earns billion of revenue. College sports also create a very competitive league in the pros. So why hasn't this same idea worked in Europe?
  19. maybe he wants the money to take care of an entire village. U can't use your financial expectations on someone else's. It would be dumb to put a company's interest ahead of your own and family.

  21. doesn't really matter how much you make, the nature of man is almost always to improve your situation. Most ppl making 200k won't just turn down 300k like its nothing. Just like most of us would leave a company for 10k more on salary.
