imo Meireles provides more through his work-rate. Lamps is pretty much static in the midfield area when the other team has the ball.

If he actually believes he has some kind of god given right to be starting every game for us then he is deluded. I have to say I'm surprised at the way he's been reacting. I didn't think there was anything to it but after watching the post-match videos from yesterdays game, yeah there do seem to be signs that he's unhappy. I support Andre 100% regarding this. It is obvious to me that Lampard is not good enough to be starting anymore. He's even been rubbish against the majority of the "weaker" teams.

Frank should STFU if he really feels that way. He is a legend and I will always love and respect him for what he's done for the club but he is simply not good enough to be starting anymore and that is a fact. The only reason he's even getting the gametime he is right now is because our midfield is absolutely awful. If we actually had a couple of half-decent attacking midfielders in our squad, he wouldn't get half the minutes he's gotten so far

Yep much much improved. One thing that I disliked though was every time he didn't get the ball he wanted, he gave up and slumped his shoulders and stopped running. I know things are not falling for him atm but as a striker you also have to MAKE things happen for yourself and I just think that if he didn't give up and actually chased after balls/defenders to pressurize them, he'd get more chances

Our defending during set-pieces scares the SHIT out of me. I don't get how we can be so disorganized and so many players can be ball-watching every single time. Very true but the commentator did make a good point - he plays superbly for almost the entire game but one slip in concentration almost gifted them with a goal; referring to that LampardvsVilla-esque pass that he almost presented to the Wolves player. If the Wolves guy (was it Fletcher?) had been able to control it, he would have been clear.
