  1. Used to. There was this broadcasting hoo-ha a couple of seasons ago. At first it changed to some broadcast based in Dubai (which was absolutely horrendous) but a different company has the footballing rights now. John Dykes is with them now so we get him again! I believe they're called IMG Sports. Who's your main host now that he's left? lol Cundy is annoying but at least he's better than Tommy Langley
  2. The Liverpool fans hate him too. That says it all really.
  3. I get what you mean but personally I'd rather have seen Kalou come on than Ferreira
  4. You mean the backheel? I don't think that was that bad. He wasn't in the right position to strike it properly.
  5. Is anyone saying he's our lord and saviour??? I really don't think so. But he's a great talent. He's young and he's hungry. Sure there are other players available too but he's obviously going to leave Lille and they've said that if someone is willing to pay 25m or so then they'd accept the offer.
  6. Worst part was that he actually did well yesterday. Why can't he play like that all the time? Twat.
  7. Bosingwa was taken off because he was injured. It wasn't a tactical sub to take him off. There was one incident where the ball went out for a throw-in and AVB went to pick the ball up to pass it to Bosingwa. But Bosingwa was walking over really slowly and AVB got pissed off on the touchline. He was vigorously gesturing at Bosingwa to walk faster. But Bosingwa told him that he was injured. This was about 5 minutes before the substitution However I was furious that he put Ferreira on rather than make an attacking sub
  8. I wasn't aiming my post at you! I hadn't even read your post yet when I posted that. Sorry! There are quite a few posts on the previous pages where people are saying things like "we can't even beat the team that Utd beat so comfortably" and last week the same was posted but using Arsenal's result against Wigan the previous week before. Yup, this is what I was trying to say.
  9. Unfortunately it's obvious that Josh isn't going to get a chance with us right now. I have no idea why. Why does AVB even bother putting him on the bench?!?! I don't get it!!
  10. Obviously I've not seen him play, but every time I've seen him as a pundit and/or commentator he's been a cunt. And he actually has an entrance at the Bridge named after him. Jesus Christ.
  11. Can we please stop comparing results? Utd beat Fulham 5-0. Arsenal beat Wigan 5-0. So fucking what? It doesn't work like that!! Players were a disgrace yesterday but AVB's Ferreira sub was absolutely infuriating. I cannot believe that he did that ugh
  12. He should not be starting at all for us atm, even against the "weaker" teams. Last week against Wigan and yesterday just showed what a liability he has become. On first thought it might seem like a good move to play him in these games because a lot of times you can play a weaker player against these types of teams and get away with it. But we ended up drawing both games. Obviously the blame doesn't just lie with him. But our midfield is just nonexistent when he's in it atm. Even Malouda would be a better option. In the few games that Malouda has played in midfield instead of the front 3, he's been okay. We need to sign an attacking midfielder asap
  13. WHY is this boy not even getting a fucking chance? We could have done with him yesterday.
  14. Just out of curiousity, what is the daily rep limit?
  15. "Played really well" LOL. Like Peace said, he was good, nothing special. he was much better in the first half as compared to the second. But he did put in effort so I'm pleased with that.
  16. There's a difference between spending big and making panic buys. The latter is not needed and I don't think it will be done. But we do need to fucking spend
  17. I dunno, someone posted that on the previous page Is he on the bench?
  18. Jesus is mikel really coming on? What a fucking joke. Mceachran should come on with lamps going off. Lamps hasn't been bad but he provides NOTHING
  19. Meant in terms of his attitude rather than actual defending (which was horrific too). He is a defensive midfielder. How can a team have a defensive midfielder that is not going to make damn sure he is alert and doing every single thing he can to stop midfielders especially from getting into a scoring position.
  20. Never liked him. He's an arrogant cunt.
  21. CC, I believe that Mikel was largely to blame for the goal. Even moreso than Bosingwa or JT. Just to try and make my case: In picture 1: I believe Mikel is obstructed by that pole and is around the same line as JT (near the center circle). If you look at that picture, he is the player who at that moment can make the most impact. Because he can make a diagonal run towards the area where bale is going to run (towards Bosingwa), thus significantly lessening the space Bale has. In picture 2: You can see that he has hardly moved at all. He hasn't moved very much closer to bale NOR closer to Terry. I think what he did was awful defending. What are your personal thoughts? Also, look at this video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec93v53NU1w By this time his laziness has meant that he cannot directly impact the goal in terms of helping Bosingwa, Ivanovic and JT. He doesn't even bother to see if there are any runners coming into the box and try and track them. This is disgraceful imo.
  22. Yep, good point Sh0n3x. He has a great run of matches to play in. He's already screwed himself once by getting sent off against Swansea and hence missing the Bolton, Everton and QPR matches. Before that sending off, he was looking as if he was gradually finding some good form. After the sending off... his performances have gotten worse and worse and he is now at an even lower level than last season. I honestly don't think he will ever get back to the brilliance that he was in the 08/09 season because of the injuries he has suffered. But he is still capable of becoming a solid 15-18 goals a season striker. He has shown glimpses that he still is able to produce some decent level of ball-control and finishing (the goal against Swansea, the goal against Utd as well as that run against Utd where he took 3 players on and produced a superb save). I think it is purely his attitude that is holding him back. The "lack of service" excuse has gotten old. The Torres of Liverpool was able to produce things out of nothing. Yes, Liverpool were tailor-made to his strengths by providing him with fast balls, but a lot of it was down to his pace, ball-control and movement. He needs to put his head down and work his ass off for the next month to find some form and prove to everyone that he is not a flop.
