The Mata signing seems to be the only one in recent memory where we actually got the whole thing wrapped up quickly. I mean that transfer was amazing the agreement between the clubs was announced barely 4 or 5 days after the real rumours started and he was signed within a few days

Most of our players need a song. Do we actually have any for players other than Frank, JT, Torres and Drogba? I know that songs exist but they don't ever seem to be sung at the Bridge.

Yeah I have been very frustrated by this as well. It's like a vicious cycle: Torres desperately wants the 'killer' pass from midfield which doesn't come because our midfield is shite -> Torres is frustrated -> Torres tries 50% as hard during the next move to receive the killer pass which doesn't come because our midfield is shite -> Torres is pissed off -> Torres doesn't try anymore. Fault lies with both parties, but I still maintain that our biggest priority has to be a creative midfielder.

Havent seen the game yet but this "2 assists!!!!" talk is laughable. Because that first one shouldn't even be considered an assist. He had no idea where Ramires was and he wasn't looking for him.

3m is far too low IMO we should be looking at 6m at least, especially considering useless players like ngog went for 7m I believe

did I say that? But some decent passing and movement would be nice. Even the Chelsea TV commentators were frustrated by our awful passing in the 1st half and kept saying over and over that there was simply no precision passing, attacking movement, etc. The three goals at the end definitely seem to flatter us. Job done. Move on. But a creative midfielder is a must.

Well these three late goals have made it all look easy but it definitely didn't sound to be the case. Based on the commentary, for the best part of 75 minutes we were just as dire as we've been for over a year in terms of creativity. Sigh.
